This fine Japanese knock-off looks to be from the late 70's-early 80's. It is a carbon copy, with all the usual configurations.
(maple top, set neck, ugly gold hardware,semi-hollow body, etc.)
The original tuners were replaced with Lg. Grovers.
Surprisingly, it must have been a professional job.
Instead of leaving the usual screw scars, they took the time to fill the hole and touch-up the finish.
It actually looks pretty good.

Sound : 9
This guitar was built for Jazz.
So I use it for Jazz. It sounds great.
But on occasion I like to turn up the reverb, slap on a little distortion and play a little rockabilly.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
The guitar was alright as set up from the resale shop.
But as most gear heads do, I had to tear it apart and clean it.
My only beef is a small hair line crack to the bridge near the screw post. Easily repairable, but I haven't had to replace it.

Reliability/Durability : 8
I would gig with it.
If I replaced the bridge hardware, that would be it.
It is a pretty sturdy guitar.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Crestline&Co has been and gone.
The great part is when I bought this.
The usual A**hole who works at the store was off the day I found
this gem. So I made an offer and put down about 1/2 of the asking price.(The policy for the resale music store was a 30 day waiting period) Then when I came in to pick it up, the Douche saw what I was paying for the guitar and threw a fit. But as we all know, a deal is a deal. Just to add salt to the wound I asked him for the case that came with the guitar, he gave it to me reluctantly. Ha Ha

Overall Rating : 10
I have written a few reviews on this site(Ibanez ex series, and crestline SG copy.)They explain about my tastes and equipment.
The great thing about this site is you can seperate the crap from the hybe and get yourself a pretty clear idea before you buy.
Well enough A** kissing.
I would probably try to replace this if I lost it, but they are getting more and more difficult to come by.
It is a pretty decent knock-off.
