This D'Angelico NYL-7 was made in 2001 or 2002. It is the only NYL-7 ever shipped to America. 17 inches wide. It has the vintage natural finished and it is fully hand carved. It has 7 strings with the addition of a low A. It has a carved ebony tail piece and carved ebony pick guard. Grover imperial tuners. Floating jazz pick up. It has a really flamey carved maple back and sides.

This is a truly great sounding Jazz Guitar. You can hit that Pizzarelli sound with the 7 strings. I compared it to some Heritage and gibson super 400 models. This truly shines. A great bebop guitar. It sounds really great and loud umplugged too!!

Because this guitar is carved it tends to feedback easily but with the proper settings and good control it can be played quite loud live. It seems really solid and very well made. I feel I could depend on this guitar.

I have been playing for about 7 years. I play jazz, rockabilly, blues and I lead worship at a church. I have several other guitars but this is my only jazz guitar. I have a gretsch white falcon, fender strat and tele a santa cruz baritone, and a rain song JM-1000 acoustic guitar. I am looking to sell this guitar. If anyone is interested please email me.
