Made when? - Bought in UK early seventies Japanese made

Tuners cheap 'n nasty
Useful adjustable height bridge
Sound
:
No Opinion
It's quite a nice instrument - nice even sound. Not a 'ringer' responds to new strings (dead with oldies)-I've played plenty of worse big-name guitars, but I would categorise it as good but not brilliant in sound quality.
Action, Fit, & Finish

Fair setup as bought, but it's really svelte now -'cos I did the setup!
All craftsmanship very nicely executed, super grains etc. No flaws -after 30 or so years of use there are no manufacturing defects at all.
Reliability/Durability

Yes, very reliable
Tuners are garbage - why haven't I replaced them!!

Zero dealings - does Dallas Arbiter still exist?

40 years (ooh that hurt)
No, yes, The wood
I'd love a great big fat loud ringing expensive acoustic, but they're all too expensive. This Jedson is was cheap, but very good value.
(I can't find much relationship between brand/cost and quality in Guitars - I find crap Gibsons and Martins whereas some cheaper brands sound and play great).
