Typical U256 consruction with all the basic gizmos. I own 2, the Aquaburst and a Limo Black.

I definately like the sound that this guitar produces. I like the throaty low end of the sound, but I think I would go for a larger gauge string for the high end sound, a little too twangy sometimes. I'm playing it through a Danelectro Dirty 30 amp (which I love) and I get some very pleasant sounds out of it. As for a variety???? I wouldn't know too much right now--I'm a beginner--but I am happy so far.

I have found no defects in the construction whatsoever. Call me lucky. I'm on the bandwagon for different tuners and strap pegs though.

Um, not real sure if it would hold up in gig circumstances, but it does real well in my house. I would probably try it out somewhere. So far I've had no problems. Had both guitars for about a 6 months, so far so good. Seems pretty well made.

Thankfully I haven't had the opportunity to use the customer support, I hope I never do.(I'm knocking on wood as I type this)

Although I haven't been playing for a long time, I am a Danelectromaniac. I've got 2 guitars, an amp, 3 pedals, gig bag and a hard case that is on order......all Danelectro. I love the retro look and sound of this model in particular and would have no problem with buying another model. As for buying 2 in such a short time? I'm a lefty, so when I saw the U2 in Aquaburst I fell in love with it. As for the second, the deal was too damn good to pass on. I would recomend these guitars to anyone.
