it has withstood live playing. good quality hardware. finish is decent the finish on my fender is alot beter. my strap hasent sliped of the buttons yet. with beter electronics you could depend on it. and i problably would never gig without a backup.

3 years. what kind of wood it was made of. i would get a different guitar if stolen or lost. how fast the neck plays is what i like about it. i hate the plywood body. there arent many features to have one be my favorite. I wish it had a mahogony body or a better quality wood.

I think it's a 2000 Indonesian-made. 22 Medium frets. Laminated Top. 1 Volume 1 Tone 3-way Selector. H/H Stock Pickups. I guess De Armond's regular (I really don't know about a make or model). Passive electronics. Mahogany Body. Black Finish. Les Paul Shape. Hardtail Bridge. Non-Locking Cheap Tuners. Fat Neck like a Les Paul. Rosewood Fingerboard. I think the scale is 24.75. It came with a guild deluxe gig bag.

The Pickups are Ok. Not great at all. I put a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge to see if any changes. It sounds better than it did but not like I want it to. But what would expect from a $100 piece of shit.I just bought it cuz it was $100 and I had some money to waste. Plus everyone talks about De Armonds, so I got curious. My current setup is:
Gibson Les Paul Studio Plus----|
Jackson DKMGT------------------|-Digitech RP300----Boss Chorus---Dunlop 95Q Crybaby---Randall RG100SC Combo
The sound is full but the pickups pop and make noise. Terrible feedback. A versatile guitar but just to cheap for me.

The setup was terrible. Very High Action. The pickups height was tremendously low. Noisy pickup selector also. I hate poorly made guitars. I will never buy a $100 guitar again.

I would shot myself before gigging with this. It would be a guitar's ultimate nightmare. The hardware is already rusting and I've had it for 10 months. The finish is very thin and is easy to scratch. The strap buttons are just pieces of aluminum foil. The worst piece of shit strap buttons ever. Never depend on this guitar or any other De Armond unless it's one of those high-end models. Use it without backup? No don't use it at all is my answer.

Never dealt with them but I need to call them and tell them how sucky this model is.
They get a 3 for making a shitty assed backwards guitar.

I have been playing for 6 years. Other gear I own is:
Gibson Les Paul Studio Plus
Jackson DKMGT
Jackson DX10D Dinky Reverse
Schecter Diamond Series C-1 Plus
Randall RG100SC Combo
Marshall MG-80RCD Combo
Fender Princeton 65
Boss, Dunlop, Digitech Effects
Don't buy this guitar unless you are a beginner. Otherwise shoot yourself if one happens to fall into your hands.
