It woul;d definetly withstand live playing, hardware will last, the blue burst finish is fine and I would use it on a gig without a back up

I been playing for 5 years.
I had a fender telecaster but that didn't relly help the style of music I was playing, haevy metal, this guitar fitted the bill perfectly.
Wish it had a floyd rose only thing missing but can't complain at the price

A very versitle intrument. I bought it for the collectors value, and have ended up playing it more then my other caddy.
I use a variety or effects, a Boss Gs 10 mult unit, a Vox 15 watt valvtronics and a 200 watt Hughes and Kettner. This has great tone and clarity, and a lot of natural resonance and sustain. I can pretty well play anything.

The factory setup was awesome, my tech did little. The 3 way seector is a bit tempermental, and I am looking for a fix on that. Not a single flaw anywhere on the body finish or binding.

I would gig the hell out of this and frankly think it would outlive me.

Ive been playing for 30 years, and have had and still have a variety of gutars. I will play Deans over anything else except my Fender Tele Thinline, which is a close second.
If it was stolen I would hunt them down and do great harm. As a collectors item it is irreplaceable, and just as a Dean it is very much loved.
