I got a Dean Concert CE used last year. Laminated cedar and mahogany nylon strung guitar with active electronics that work well. Soft cut away body. The neck has a truss rod and is perfectly straight. The tuners are cheap and caused some buzzing until I superglued the plastic buttons. It has a standard 2" nut and 650mm scale. Nice inlay around the sound hole. No strap buttons but I added some.

This guitar has a nice nylon string tone but lacks volume. Volume is just ok. I play medium D'Addarios on it. Plugged in this thing sounds great. I have also played into an SR57 mic at gigs and it sounded good.

Set up was perfect as is, but I got this thing used so maybe it was tweaked before I got it. The top and back are bookmatched, a surprise in this price range.

Sturdy and reliable. It is my only guitar at the moment and I use it for gigs. I play mandolin mostly in a local acoustic band. This guitar has that bullet proof finish most cheap imports have so it will look new a long time but I wonder how much better it would sound with a thinner finish.

I've been playing for 32 years. I switched to nylon strings because of arthritis giving me trouble with steel. After a year with this Dean I am now planning on getting a higher end instrument but will probably keep this one also. This guitar was a bargain, a good guitar considering what I paid for it.

I play a variety of music from classical to Metallica. When I want to fingerpick, I pick up the Dean. The sound is warm, with crisp highs and great string to string definition. You can get a plethora of sounds from this guitar just by varying string attack and picking location.

The action was higher than I like when I recieved it, but the Dean has a truss rod...something unusual with a classical guitar,,,so the action was easily adjusted. Once tweaked, the action was great. The finish is very nice, no extra spots or oozes of glue noted on the inside. The solid cedar top is exquisite,

I don't gig, but if I did, the Dean would do fine. I have had 2 other Deans and only had one problem with a tuner, but Dean fixed it without question. This is a classical guitar, so no strap buttons. NEVER GIG WITHOUT A BACKUP!!!

Great experience with Dean in the past...no reason to think that the service wouldn't be the same. 5 year warranty.

Playing steady for the last 4 years after a LONG layoff. If this guitar vanished, I would IMMEDIATELY reppalce it with another. I currently own an ESP Viper electric guitar, Peavey Studio Pro 112 and a Behringer V-Amp2. I love the sounds that you can get out of the guitar. The action was high, but easily fixable. I played several other classicals - several Cordobas, a couple of Alvarez's, some ESteve's, a Simon and Patrick, a Fender, and several Yamaha's. FOR THE MONEY, the Dean smoked them all.
