22 fret, 2 volume controls & 1 tone control (DIMEBAG traction nobs, 3 way selector switch, H/H pickup config (dean zebra pickups, tape on next pickup), Basswood body, ML shape, Tune-o-matic bridge, grover tuners, bolt on maple D shape neck (24 3/4 scale) with dean classic II series headstock (the bigger 1), dimebag quad sticker, tribute crest on headstock.
I would have given it 10 but i dont like the sticker and tape and think that they're bad features (sometimes less really is more)
Sound

I play metal (sabbath/metallica style mainly) and some other slower stuff such as made up cord progressions finger style etc. This guitar suits what i play with its H/H pickup config and its ability to do a lovely clean sound when the distortion isn't on (always with a dark tone though). I play through a small 10w amp (KUSTOM KGA10FX and have been using a Marshall Shred Master pedal recently which i am borrowing off a friend), and use either Ernie ball standard slinky or elixir 10s in mainly standard tuning.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The guitar was set up quite well, all the necessary components were tight (neck, bridge, tuners, selector switch & nobs, pickup surrounds etc.) but the tape on the on the neck pickup wasn't on very well.
Strings were very bad but that is to be expected with any guitar bought out of a shop, it has been used by other people after all.

Seems very durable, ive hit it on a few walls accidentally already and hasn't marked or scrached, this guitar can withstand live playing, hardware seems like it wont come off any time soon. Only thing is i suggest getting some strap locks or somthing due to the placing of the strap buttons cos i have had my strap come off many times so far (luckily i have always been holding it or caught it). The strap button locations arn't bad though because they make it very comfortable.

Ive been playing approx 5 months now, i also own a very cheap c giant strat guitar, amp etc (??70 for the amp, guitar, stap, pick and lead which is a bloody good price for the guitar as it actually sounds nice, i recommend them for anyone starting out). My fravorite features about the guitar are its killer looks and the smoothness of the neck. I compared this guitar to a washburn x-series, jackson king v, vintage metal axe warp, and chose this because i belived it to be the best for the price due to how comfortable it was (quite surprisingly), its sound, feel and looks. I wish it had a mahogany body (but for this price it's good) and a different bridge pickup.

It's pretty much a black Dean ML with a Dimebag Darrel tribute graphic on the headstock, and a 4-headed Dimebag Darrel sticker on the front of the body, near the top. It has two "zebra" humbucking pickups, in which the neck pickup has electrical tape on the sides (apparently something Dime did) and rivets on the knobs, which gives them excellent grip when reaching for them in a hurry. It's a string thru body hard-tail guitar, no floyd rose here. And it has Grover tuners.

It's very thick, due to how big the body is, which is nice. However, under distortion, the pickups are a bit muddy, and not too clear. And the clean tone is really dark, with little tone. I swapped it out with a Seymour Duncan Screamin' Demon pickup, to achieve the sound I wanted and now it sounds perfect. I play metal, and like to have a distortion thats tight, without too much gain. The thickness and size of the body makes the tone thick, punchy, and gives me plenty of sustain and clarity.

Ouch... When I got it home, I put new strings on it, because I play 11's and detune all stings one step. No big deal right? Almost everything on this guitar needed to be tightened. The tuning pegs were very loose, as was the input jack, and chrome plate on the front of the body where the strings come thru. I adjusted the truss rod accordingly and lowered the action and it played great. But the first time I played out with it I heard a knocking noise and my low string dropped down almost one whole step. I re-tuned and kept playing, but I'd have to re-tune each song to make sure it was still in... I noticed that the neck moved up and down as I applied SLIGHT pressure to it. So I removed all the strings and three of the four neck bolts weren't tight at all! So I tightened them up and haven't had a problem since. Once everything got fixed It played great, and is a solid guitar. But it sucks that a guitar that came from the factory wasn't properly assembled! I've NEVER had a problem with any of the many guitars i've had. Other than that, the frets were ground down perfectly, and it plays great!

As stated above, once I get everything in full working order it was a very solid feeling guitar, the hardware is good, and the finish feels nice and durable. I never gig without a backup, because it doesn't matter how durable a guitar is... Strings fail.

I would have given this a 10, if it weren't for the assembly issues. Once you install the desired pickup of your choice, it's a great guitar, looks killer, and is a ton of fun to play live with!
