two humbuckers.
set neck.
1 volume 1 tone.
one piece bridge...very cool.
all black with hot rod flames...hott.

acoustically...as in not plugged in...sounds very bright...a very solid sounding piece...
the stock pick-ups suck...i replace the bridge with a seymour duncan distortion pick-up...sounds beautiful after that...and after i replaced the volume and tone pots...the were horrid...now it suits my style(hardcore/punk) perfectly...
runnign it through a marshall avt150h...very hard...very heavy...very nice.
Action, Fit, & Finish

the action was screwed from the start...it cam with 9's and the neck was bowed....straightened the neck...and put some GHS 10' on it...there was so much fret buzz playing the strigns open...so i had to adjust the nut...fix that...now it plays beautifully...
...the finish is gorgeous...all black and flames...can't go wrong.

guitar withstand live playing without a doubt....after i fixed everything...no problems....tuners rawk...strap buttons are solid....very solid guitar.

i lvoe this guitar...i't gorgeous and plays beautifully...if it were stolen...i would kill someone...don't care who...but someone must die.

Mahogany guitar, fixed/glued neck joint, 2 humbuckers, one volume and one tone.
All black but covered in a custom hot-rod flame paint job.
Stunning qulity finish (unbelievable for the money).
Abalone fret markers, and Dean logo.
I give it 8 because its not loaded with lots of things but everything that onw should need.

Sounds killer. These Korean Dean pickups have real bright crunchy soul to them. They are a touch microphonic but that adds to the 'airey' sprang that they have clean or dirty.
How refreshing.

Flawless faultless set-up as provided by Jeff at Machinehead Music Hitchin. (Coolest shop on earth!)
Once again the finish is spotless no blobs or bumps, perfect! Crazy at this money - I'm still pinching myself that this guitar retails at about #400!!! How can they do it?
