I was looking for a cheap to medium priced electric 12 string and found this on Musicians Friend for around $500. Haven't regretted it since it arrived. This guitar plays and sounds fantastic! Very clear and chimey, both pickups deliver great sound. the spacing of the double strings is just right, as is the width between the groups of strings. This guitar is the equal of any Rick 12 or any other 12 string on the market, and at a much lower price. Stays is tune, and the tuners are easy and smooth.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Red (with a slight sparkle) finish with white racing stripes. How cool can you get. MOP/MOTS headstock. Guitar came set up perfectly, haven't made any adjustments.

Reliability/Durability : 9
As well made as any of the "respectable" guitar manufacturers instruments. This sits along side any of my Fenders, Gibsons, Gretsches, ect for quality, playability, sound, etc. Nothing cheap feeling, sounding, or looking about this guitar.

Haven't dealt with DiPinto over this guitar, so can't say. I did however, recently order and receive a Galaxie 4 directly from DiPinto and Chris DiPInto was very accommodating and friendly to deal with.

Overall Rating : 9
This guitar is as good as any guitar I've owned. Can't imagine getting rid of it. I got this guitar a little over a year ago, and kept meaning to write a review, but kept putting it off until I recently got a DiPinto Galaxie 4. That is also a great guitar, so I felt it was time to get the word out about these guitars. So now I'm very interested to try out some of the other DiPinto models. These guitars are manufactured in Korea, but there is nothing slipshod or negligent about the construction of these guitars. I've been playing professionally for 25 years plus, and I feel like I'm pretty aware of when of guitar is poorly constructed. That is not the case with this guitar.

DiPinto Mach Xll- 12 string electric guitar in Candy Apple Red w/ White racing stripes. Mahogany body, 22 fret maple neck, rosewood fretboard w/ star inlays and white binding, humbucking pickup in the bridge position and a single coil in the neck position. Pearl moto headstock.

Sound : 10
Classic 12 string guitar sounds! The combination of the mahogany body w/ the great Dipinto pickups makes this a very warm but articulate sounding instrument. Very rich, lush and full sounding through my Musicman 12 Sixty Five amp. I play it with some amp reverb and an analog delay.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
For the price range this guitar is setup really well and feels solid. It actually stays in tune. The fretwork is great, no sharp edges. All of the controls and switches feel solid.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Feels solid. I would gig with this guitar without a backup. Very well made.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 10
Compared with a much more expensive Rickenbacker 12 string, I feel the DiPinto is a better value. Well built and looks & sounds great!
