this guitar has a wicked top end and loads of mids... if you're familiar with acrylic than you already know. many people look at acrylics in horror but , you know they've juiced over the sound of bonham's drums sound sometime. this guitar has solid work through and through. I like the pick-ups yet something is telling me i have to do something about the insane hottness of them. the reason I give this a nine is because I'm a master volume type and this has one for each and one tone. the switch is in the perfect place and the tuners stay well in tune after a rugged break in. came with a soft fuzzy bag (imagine huge crown royal ) for covering the body, a ton of picks, papers, truss rod wrench, and a whole lot of love...

Sound : 10
this guitar has been tested to death. orange, fender(s), carvin, marshall. about twenty-four different stomp boxes(music buddies always want to try out something new) every one so far has agreed. HOLY SHIT. the thing is silent as a church mouse, hotter than a bronze crucible! great for just about anything. had trouble with getting mean fedback, witch suprized me concidering the loud ouput, but that where all those years of knowing how to operate a screwdriver pays off! wonderful sound.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
the folks at dillion are famous for their necks. mine is a rosewood on maple med- jumbo frets(all perfectly even, fender never seems to get that right). some how, my friend thinks steel wool, they got the neck to shine like a fucking mirror. never seen any make of guitar that has this quality look as super as this. action always need adjustment with a new guitar. mr. v also had a blemish that i was told about before buying him, but it was only a tinny crack on the body behind the neck. was much less worse than I expected

Reliability/Durability : 10
strong heavy acrylic. tone will not cange with age. if i am a moron it will loose it's good looks. as for hardware if any thing goes it'll be the tuners, but not for five years of active playing. this is now my main axe and will remain such. must tour with this.

Customer Support : 10
super prompt and non robotic. humans!

Overall Rating : 10
I have three types of teles a beast of a charvel a dearmonde 545 hamer lp jr. type. these all started crying when mr. v came home. now I'm selling some of them off. this v is 8 of 12. suicde would cross my mind. that or murder. yes. tony and mr dillion are divine men who have a space saved for them in the halls of champions... vahalla.
