'04 model I believe, #3 of only 8 produced with the Cert of Auth to back it up. It's a 22 fret, Korean made? This guitar is a beautiful copy of the Les Paul but for a few minor differences. It has the clear acrylic body, headstock and all the cover plates are clear as well. The wiring is all aluminum wrapped to make pretty when you see it from the back, sexy!!! The neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard, very warm yet powerful. It's heavier than I would have thought but I prefer a heavier guitar for the sustain, wowee!! Beautiful tulip style machine heads, stock humbuckers, 3-way switch for rythem/treble, 2 volume and 2 tone controls. The body finish is perfect, when I look through it the top looks like it's contoured but it's flat, the beveled back gives this see-thru a look that has to be seen to understand. Fit...flawless, finish...I gotta tell ya, it's like it was fresh from the glass factory!! The only beef I have is the finish, I wish my friends would stop leaving their fingerprints on it!!!!

Sound : 9
I play through a Marshall half-stack with a Boss overdriver pedal and it sounds great although it could have a little more treble but I wouldn't dream of swapping out pickups or hot-roddin' this baby. No outside noises, pops, clicks...nuthin. The sound reminds me of Billy Gibbons, Steve Vai, Zack Wylde, very very full and LOUD!

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
This guitar was originally sold to someone (new) to a guy who decided he wasn't going to pay for it after he took it home, it was quickly recovered and I snapped her up as soon as I saw it, the finish is awesome, the fit of every part is perfect. Thanx God for not letting that dude play it. I brought the bottom pickup up just a hair closer to the strings, but other than that it's setup very very nicely. Flawless!!!! I love the action, so close yet not a buzz anywhere and i'm tellin' ya these string are CLOSE to the neck, fast and silky and very bendy!!!

Reliability/Durability : 9
I brought my Dillion to my friend's gig and let him borrow it for the first set, after playing it all night he didn't want to give it back. He offered his Gibson Les and a good sum of cash for it but NO!!! His Gibson's neck SPLIT a couple of weeks ago, Whew, my Dillion is happy with me purring in my hands!!! This guitar is SOLID I say!!! I would defy anyone to find anything to dislike about this guitar except for the weight which is the only thing that ( some ) people don't care for. Living here in Northern NY the cold can throw her out of tune slightly but once it's warmed up she stays on target.

Customer Support : 10
Yeah, I had to contact Dillion because when I bought this guitar the Cert of Authorization was lost so I sent an e-mail to Dillion. After wondering why no reply I found that most of my e-mail was being re-directed to the spam folder. After re-sending an e-mail to Dillion I got a reply from John himself giving me his # at work...what the hell??? Nobody does that but he did. I called him thinking he was going to be stand-offish, Dude, this guy is cool, he hand printed ( in calligryphy no less!!) the Certificate without a hitch and it was in the mail in 4 days, definately a cool guy, thanx John!!!!!!

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playint about 10 years and owned many guitars, I always wanted a Les Paul, always wanted a clear acrylic guitar and got both in one!!! If it ever walked away without my consent to live with someone else trust me, I would be buried UNDER the prison for murder. There could never be a replacement for this sweet axe, there are only 8 of these on the planet, need I say more??? Anyone want pics?? Send me an e-mail requesting one and I will be most proud to reply!!! I will never, NEVER give up my Dillion untill Lucifer himself pries it from my cold, dead fingers. To those that have had a negative experience with a Dillion..HUNH??? Are ya sure it was a Dillion?? Are we talking about the same company??? I just CAN'T believe that you found something that you didn't like about them, everyone that has touched this guitar has offered me a deal for her, but... unlike my ex-wife, I would never give up my Dillion. I only wish that you could try this one but, hands off sucker!!! Can I get cremated with it??? Thank you John Dillion for creating the best guitar that this man has ever had the joy of playing, BAR NONE!!!! I can die happy now!!!

It's unreal I've had for nine months now, no problems it's just like the Gibson,

Sound : 10
It has a great, single coil antiqued sound, no noise. It's so crisp and clear. I can play right out of my amp clean and be happy for hours, and then throw in Delay and be in heaven.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Very well set up, the action needed a little adjustment, very beutiful work. The high E ware itself a little buzz but a good razor blade fixed that right up. Everything else was tight and to this day I havn't made any adjustments.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I've had it for nine months, playing it almost every one of those days, it's very dependable, keeps it's tune, good finish, very solid guitar, I would trust going to a show without a back up.

Customer Support : 9
Very nice and easy to work with, I've never had to have anything repaired on any of my Dillions, I have 3. So I can't tell you what it's like try to get one fixed. All my info requested were answered right away.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
I've been playing for many years now and Have many Gibsons, Fenders, and Dillions, and my dillions can go head to head with any of them.
If one were ever stolen I would definatly by another

Sound : 1

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
the action, fit and finish aren't bad....

Reliability/Durability : 2
there is no reliability to this guitar , mine has let me down sourly..If you buy one be sure you can rebuild it...

Customer Support : 1
forget it, John Dillion has one policy, take it to your dealer, and the dealer's i've contacted won't back it...This is an as is guitar.
If you buy it do so knowing it's your problem, and if you try to get even parts from dillion you will be dissapointed.

Overall Rating : 1
I wish i had never bought this guitar, if you find these traits appealing contact me , i'd be glad to sell you mine ..CHEAP!!!!!
