Great sounding guitar really, much better than expected and I expected it to sound good! Playing straight through a Trace Elliot Stereo Quad amp, very clear and Strat sounding, sounds too good to mess with changing pickups. If I want different sound it'd be better to invest in a different type of guitar.

This is where I can be more critical. The original setup needed work and my tech really did a major number on this guitar. It stays in tune and plays great.

Solid. This is a very real guitar and will hold up. I'm not gigging so I can't give it that much of a test, but compared to all the guitars I've ever owned, this one is very solid. It's probably not a good idea to gig without a backup unless you have to. It helps to have any kind of backup when you can.

Dillion is very good and helpful. Never had a Dillion repaired, but I have gotten very good tech support.

Been playing over 25 years and now play mostly Dillions. I've owned Fender, Gibson, Carvin, BC Rich, others, and Dillions are more suited for me. I wouldn't have owned it with the Bad Boy inlay, but before I bought it, I made sure my tech could upgrade it. It was well worth the investment as this is a keeper. I would replace if necessary and will probably buy another one someday anyways.

The guitar that I played was a brand new Dillon DBB300 with a beatiful quilted maple top. The body is also solid maple. The controls are very simple in just having one volume, one tone, and one five position selector switch. I love this setup for live playing. It keeps it simple when having to worry about stepping on pedals and such. I was very impressed by the pickups and upon contacting the company i found that they make their own pickups. the body shape reminded me of a mix between a PRS and Strat. The accutune double pivoting tremelo stayed in tune much better than a Strat style tremelo but still doesn't measure up to a Floyd. The neck felt as if it had been made for my hands as I have short fingers. the only things that could make this guitar better are Sperzal locking tuners, and a set neck instead of a bolt on. Even with that, this will be the first bolt-on neck guitar that i have bought in nearly ten years.

This is a very diverse guitar since it has the h-s-s pickup configuration. The humbucker seems suited for anything from lite stuff to metal. it was very clear sounding at all times. Usually i have to put emgs in guitars to get this. The single coils were very full sounding, not as high endy as a normal strat pickup. I compared it to a Fender Strat plus deluxe with the fender lace sensors and it blew it the Fender away. I played it through an Orange ampat the store and will be playing it through a Marshall 800 head and Marshall 9000 series rack amps at home.

Over the quality of this guitar is amazing. You would expect a guitar like this to cost two or three times as much as it does. I hope that as the company grows it will remember the customer in keeping the great prices. I will probaly raise the action , but i tend to like the action a lkittle higher than most people.

I believe that it will be a good dependable guitar. as with any guitar i will put strap locks on it. Also i would always carry a second or third guitar since it does have a tremelo.

Both times i've emailed the company they have gotten back to me the same day. Try that with Gibson!

I have been playing for about thirteen years and have tried alot of guitars. I have been strictly a gibson man for four or five years now. I'm sure that everyone knows how bad the quality of the major names has been lagging in recent years. I honestly believe that the future of guitars lay in the hands of all the small companies that have been coming out lately. I would recomend that anyone shopping for a new guitar try one of these.
