if you ever listen to the very ealy Beatles or just George Harrison his work on the Cloud Nine CD then you here this style played through out the CD
I play through a Vox AC-30 amp
with a Beatle head for the vintage sound and distortion
out feedback not unless I intentually do it .
there is so much you can produce from this. Its just amazing to use plus its as close to the dou jet as gretsch willl allow

It was playable right out of the box (of course you had to ajust the tuning)
but other than that right out of the box
I didn't find any flaws,scuffs or
finish anomolies
just plain beautiful
Reliability/Durability

it has been gigged with as a primary
with my Gretsch Duo-Jet as a back up just in case I break a string so the roadie can replace it ASAP and so the Jet will not get messed up or get aquired
the strap buttons hold up well with any type of strap
very reliable if aquires or lost I wouildn't hesitatae to replace it in a Heartbeat
