Randy Rhoads knock-off made in Korea 2003 probably. 22 frets, solid alder...very lightweight, similar to the Dave Mustaine Flying V. 2 volume, 1 tone and a 3-way selector switch, 2 humbuckers. Rosewod fretboard with chrome hardware. String through body and a set neck seems very sturdy and well built. They even threw in a case.

Sound : 8
Sounds awesome and is perfect for metal...great clean tones though too. Using it through a high gain Randall Rh100G2...smokes all other high gain amps by far. Pretty quiet that's for sure. Stock pickups are very rich and full and the bridge has a nice bite. I'm used to EMG's so they might get swapped out, but EMG's make everything sound so sterile so we'll see. But I was impressed for being stock passive pickups, pretty warm and rich.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
This baby came setup straight from the store i bought it from off of ebay. Played great right out of the box, intonation was dead on. This Rhoads knock-off looks almost exactly like Alexi Laiho's of Children of Bodom but without the floyd rose. All black with chrome hardware and white pinstripes. Looks like it costs a hell of alot more than 500 bones.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I'd definitely gig with, it stays in tune for the most part, and it seems like it's built very well. Nice fat strap buttons.

Customer Support : 10
Never had a problem, even emailed John Dillion himself to thank him for the top notch quality and he kindly emailed me back and was glad to hear i loved the guitar, said he designed the pickups himself.

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing for 15 years, I've played jackons, Gibsons, strats , you name it i've played it. I wouldn't rate this to it's opponent ( the Jackson RR5) it's alot heavier and feels better, but hey this is perfect for me and my budget. If you don't feel like paying $1,050 for the RR5, then pick one of these up and you'll be just as happy, if not happier.
