This is an update to my previous review. I upgraded the pickups, tuners, POTS and switch. Stock items all worked OK but with the upgrades I have one very nice axe.

Sound : 10
I installed Dimarzio humbuckers, an air zone at the bridge and an air classic at the neck. I then installed a switchcraft three way switch, push pull tone pots for coil split sounds and caps and resistors per the Dimarzio web site. This guitar now sounds like a dream! It does everything you could ask it to. From sweet clean to Drop D metal distortion to single coil clean & crunch. THE most versatile guitar I have ever played on (and like most of you I've quite a few - Fender, Gibson, Ibanez, Schecter. I LOVE this pickup combination.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
A little intonation adjustment, truss rod adjustment and it plays great! I am thinking of adding an Earvana nut to it just to top off the perfection.

Reliability/Durability : 8
With the new electronics the thing is rock solid. I didn't leave the old guts in long enough to test out thoroughly.

Hav had no need to contact so don't know here.

All mahogany carved top Les Paul body style with a set maple neck, rosewood fretboard tune-o-matic type bridge and stop tail piece. Dual PAF style humbuckers. White finish with gold hardware. Tulip shaped tuners.

Sound : 7
I like the sound of this guitar alot. I play classic rock, some harder drop-D style rock, contemporary Christian worship music and some occasional blues. Front pickup sounds nice for some good clean sounds while the bridge pickup is great for classic rock riffs, I am undecided about the middle setting so far. I may try Dimarzio's but will stay with the stock pickups for a short time to evaluate them further. I am really considering a Dimarzio Air Zone - Air Classic combination for this guitar. My favorite guitarist, Bob Hartman with the Christian rock band Petra is using these on his latest axe and I absolutely love the sound he is getting.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
This thing plays sweet! I love the action, fretwork is really decent and it stays in tune well. I will be upgrading to locking tuners and a tonepro's bridge/tailpiece at a later date (I love those units). The finish is beautiful with no visible flaws. It is so fun to play my favorite riffs on this fretboard and the bends are sweet! It's a keeper!

Reliability/Durability : 8
I have not had the guitar long enough to evaluate this category fairly but it sure seems to be built well. So far, so good.

No need yet.

I have been playing off & on for 20+ years. Mostly on for the last few years. I play in a worship band at my local church and for fun at home. I love Christian rock! There's nothing better than listening or playing the music you love for the Savior you love! I would gave this guitar a rating of 8 because I think that with some hardware upgrades and perhaps some premium pickups it would be a 9-10. However I am enjoying it just as it is! I have been playing some Petra and Kutless (great Christian bands) in my garage with this and am having fun!
