Not sure the year it was made, bought it new on e-bay in July. This is a 1275 double neck copy, and I gotta say it's really a high quality guitar. Each neck has 20 frets and they were dressed pretty close, but I had some work done on the guitar on the frets. This one is a white double neck with a Mahogany body and the finish is very good. It has a tone and volume for each neck which is better than the Gibson because you have more cotrol of the sound. It also has a switch use either guitar or both can be on at the same time. It also has the narrow necks and this means speed on the 12 string. I paid 800.00 for it on e-bay and cannot complain.

Sound : 10
The sound is bright and the 12 string has a really full sound. It took a while to set the pickups at the right height, but I found that high was the best. I play rock and oldies and current country, so now I'm not switching guitars alll the time and that's a very big plus.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
For me, I set the guitar for ease of use and play, I had all the tuners replaced with planet wave auto trim turners. I do this because I can change the 18 strings on this guitar faster than a 6 string with standard turners. This was done at a shop and the cost was around $400.00 but well worth it. The action was too high on both necks and i like a very low action. More shop work, The strings were lowered, more fret work and the nuts at the top of the necks were hand filed until the action was as low as it could be.Finally, $370.00 later I had the kind of guitar I was in love with. At this point I have $1570.00 in it. I would not sell it for double that price. It is now a dream to play and you can't buy a guitar that would come like this at any price.

Reliability/Durability : 10
It has set necks and seems to be an excellent guitar as far as construction is concerned. The finish is very good, I love the white and hope it does not fade. You will have to install strap locks and in a different location, I left the old one on the back of the guitar and installed a second one. So far I've been gigging with it since August and everybody loves the sound of the electric 12 string. It sounds good through a crate twin 12 and a peavey with 2 -10's

Customer Support : No Opinion
The company no longer makes this model and I believe because its so close to the gibson.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for 36 years and I would replace this in a minute with another one. I would have paid more for the guitar and been happy. I've had all the extra work done and you can't buy a guitar set up this good for the money I paid.If you see a Dillion double neck, and your're thinking about it, it's a great value and I think this guitar will go up in value.
