Alder body, maple fingerboard w/graphite nut, Pearl finish on body, pickguard and headstock, pearl inlays... dillion bridge, dillion pickups...

Okay now let's get a bit more in depth- I bought the oyster pearl model, and it is an absolutely beautiful color. It's got a really great shine to it, absolutely beautiful. The tuners aren't spectacular, but they'll manage. If you really don't like 'em you can always get new ones, but I haven't found much of a problem with them. But the real great features on this guitar would have to be the Dillion pickups. whoof! these things are great. Two pickups, three way selector... but- let's move on to sound so I can tell you exactly how enthusiastic I am about them

Sound : 9
This guy is a little devil, he is. He's got plenty of bite, plenty of kick, plenty of crunch. I mean, this guitar can really scream. It's really got a great tele sound. We've got an EXTREMELY hot single coil in the bridge position, with great response, too. A lot of treble, but it really screams- not too bright so that you don't want to hear it really let loose. The humbucker in the neck position has got a great powerful tone to it. More full than the bridge position, so it can be great for leads or rhythm. But man- let me just tell you this. I've got myself a 30 watt Orange Rocker amp, and the first day I got this guitar, I plugged it right in, started playing, and of course ten minutes later I get a call from the basement where they're doing construction, two floors down, and they say to stop cuz the foundations are shaking. This thing has got some great, full tones from high to low, and gives you a literally earth shaking rumble with a bit of gain. I was extremely impressed with this guitar, considering the great price I got it for

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Everything was set up perfectly, straight from the factory. I was particularly impressed with the pickups on this thing. Very very nice. I like.

Reliability/Durability : 8
I mean, it's a telecaster- the body might not stand up to a good solid whack agsint the ground, if you were like, TRYING to hurt it, but just to play with? Naah this thing will hold through for you unless you're trying to break it.

Customer Support : 9
I had a few questions about this guitar before buying it, so I contacted the owner of Dillion guitars, and he was very nice, and commented on how much he liked this particular model and everything. I haven't needed any repairs or anything yet, but the folks over at Dillion were extremely friendly, so I would trust them if anything came up. I've heard that they are ver reliable

Overall Rating : 9
For a four hundred dollar guitar, this was truly an excellent find. I hadn't even HEARD of Dillion before finding this beauty on Ebay, but I'm glad I did... if I ever need an inexpensive but quality guitar (and who doesn't...) then I know who to go to. These guys carry through for you. If someone stole this guitar, I might check out a few other telecasters, sure... but for everything I've played, this is definitely the best in its price range that I've found yet.
