This is a 2009 made in Korea DIllion, Quilted Maple top, 24 frets with Dillion Custom wind pickups (made in factory) and has a blue sapphire finish with a mahogany body a maple neck and American AAAA maple top. It has a wilkinson tremolo with deluxe grover romatics (18:1 ratio with black buttons), has a striped ebony fingerboard. This guitar is a PRS Style guitar...except with prettier cutaways. All the features you could need low price (425 dollars)

Sound : 10
Ahh....the sound, this guitar is truly the best sounding instrument i've lay my pawns on...and while you may be skeptic..as I would be considering this guitar is 425 dollars the sounds i coax out of this thing is nothing short of incredible. Combined with the coil taps and 3 way selector you can get Strat,Teles(it's so realistic i thought i had a tele..i used the middle position with both pup's coil tapped) and Les Paul sounds, so it's a myriad of great tones. I could easily get my hands on a gibson in fender but I won't since i found this dillion...and its at a great price. This is hands down one of the best guitars i've played.

Well mine came beautifully the quilted maple is done really well, although there is one small black dot in the maple (natural) and while its not the manufacture's fault it's a bit annoying but everything was picture perfect. The top is the best book matched top i've ever seen i actually need a 50-100X magnifying glass to see the seem(i tried it, and by the way i have good eyes!). The neck is the most comfortable neck i have. The action came perfect, and I am proud to say the Dillion fret dress lived up to it's reputation, first guitar i've had with no buzz, and thats impressive considering it came from North Carolina to soggy New York. The nut was cut in a strange way, it does the job perfectly (no string binding) so i don't mind it especially since its bone. Although the nut came with this muck on that but 1 minute and a cloth fixed that. The guitar is amazingly quiet even on the coil taps...and I looked inside the control cavities and guess what I saw....SHIELDING! this guitar was very well shielded! The D'Addario's the guitar came with were bogus so once i changed them out and stretched them out with my string stretcher (this is vital to keep the tremolo and guitar very stable) I have to say the tremolo as long as your strings are properly put on and stretched (its a good idea to put a bit of graphite in the nut as well) you can just do dive bombs one after the other and it will stay in tune perfectly (if you go so crazy...like more crazy than van halen...the g string might go off like 1/4th a step...I think it's because i didn't stretch it enough but though it should be noted, but then again doing crazier dive bombs than van halen is a hard feat.)

THIS GUITAR IS STUNNING IN THE BLUE FINISH.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar is heavveyyyyyyy easily more than my 10 pounder les paul, the neck and cutaways are gorgeously designed so you get perfect access to the upper neck. I think the finish will last, it's a thick (yet not sticky) finish so thats great. The hardware is great, with 18:1 grovers to a great wilkinson tremolo and a bone nut it's hard for hardware to be better and last longer than that! The strap buttons are actually really good but with a heavy guitar or infact any guitar of value be safe....use straplocks. I depend on this guitar 100% and with a real 335 and Les Paul it's impressive that i like this better. I would gig with out back up except i always bring back up....string breakage?

Customer Support : 10
John D is the man, he has answered my hundreds of questions without even a grimace! He was informative and honest. He will go out of the way to get you a repair done or a exchange, or replacement or even the lowest price. The warranty is 2 years limited.

Overall Rating : 10
This is god's guitar....it's perdy, gives me amazing sounds, and its versatile unlike some of my other guitars. If stolen I would probably cry, become catatonic, seek counseling and probably stop playing guitar all together...but in all seriousness i would replace it if lost or stolen...but i love it too much to let that happen. I just really commend this company for putting out instruments that defy price range boundaries...this is my favorite guitar.
