this is a 2005 made in korea model. solid mahogany body, fully binding, 25 frets, one inlay at the 12th fret, nice dark rosewood fretboard, 2 covered humbuckers, a nice bridge and stop tail, good quality factory tuners. beautiful quilt top. recessed knobs are nice, and a solid pup switch

Sound : 9
I play a lot of hard rock, and this guitar nails it, the bridge pickup is really nice sounding for GNR tones, its bright, but has the balls to back that up. the neck pup is really mellow, I set it high to get some treb out of it, its not the best but it sounds really good, think of a bassier SD '59

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
The nut is very good, very well cut, frets are very nice. The factory set up wasnt the best, but I got it just how I want it, really nice.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I have gigged this thing 4 times since I got it and it never lets me down.

Customer Support : 10

I think this guitar was made late 2005 in a Korean manufacturing facility.

Solid fully bound arch top mahogany body
Burl maple laminated top in natural finish
Recessed knobs and toggle
Bound set neck and hand polished frets
Bound Dillion headstock with pearl Isis inlay
Chrome diecast gears
Pearl Isis on 12th fret / bone nut
24 frets 24 3/4 scale.
Fixed bridge
Two Humbucking pickups with cream rings
One volume, one tone, plus 3 way switch

Sound : 5
I.M.O. This sound is a little thin especailly in the bridge position. I would say on the bright side.

I bought it to see if I could get that Santana-like sound.

I'ts a little squeally through my Boogie Single Recto but sounds okay when I'm jammin' with the POD XT.

Not a lot of sounds here.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 3
I took me a considerable amount of time to make this guitar playable even after I let it acclimate for a couple of days.

The finish for the most part is okay but there are many flaws around the top between the top wood and the binding. John Dillion told me that "they had a problem with bleeding in those areas. Consequently he will not make natural top guitars any longer."

Ther are also many black spots under the top coat all over the guitar.

The fret work is okay but I've seen many better on similarly priced guitars.

The input jack barely covers the hole so you can see some of it around the edges.

The bridge looks cheap. I'm sure the chrome will wear off easily. Same with the tuners.

Reliability/Durability : 5
I'm not sure if I will ever play this out.

I'm probably going to sell it quickly.

John Dillion was extremly helpful although he did send me this guitar knowing fully about the flaws in the first place. And he refunded me some cash to make up for the bleeding.

Overall Rating : 4
I've been playing all of my life.

I've owned many mid-priced Korean manufactured guitars from companies like Schecter, Samick, Cort, Ibanez, WAshburn, Dean ...

This one fell short of all of those. It seem buying guitars in this price range is hit-or-miss. This one missed.
