Well, what can I say!? This is a solid acrylic limited edition 1 of 8 strat shped beast! With 21 jumbo frets, three single coil pickups, with 2 tone, 1 volume, and a typical strat 5 way pickup selector. It has a rosewood finger board, chrome hardware and the most amazing join on the back of the neck where it goes from the wood to acrylic. This guitar came with a velvet body cover, mini tool kit, picks and loads of dillion extras...However, no hard case as i live outside the US.

I play mainly rock and blues...and this guitar is PERFECT! I currently use a line 6 flextone, and occasionally run it through a korg AXG100, and i have never heard a guitar for the same price that could match it! It has a typical strat sound to it, mellow on the neck and mid pickup, and tebble on the bridge pickup. This guitar is every bit as good as a fender costing double the price, if not better!...Heres the easy part....dislikes.....there are none!
Action, Fit, & Finish

Being a limited edition hand made guitar, i had high hopes for the finish, fit and action. I am pleased to say it more than lived up to my expectations. The action and intonation on the guitar was perfect, along with the height and position of the pickups. There was 1 small imperfection in this guitar which was inside the plastic, which is barely noticable, but for the price i am more than prepared to live with it. This is one of the best pieces of craftmanship i have ever seen...brilliant looks!

In my opinion, this guitar would withstand a live performance (whether the player would come out with back problems is debatable though!). The hardware seems sturdy and of good quality, and the srtap buttons make it almost impossable for your strap to come off in mid flow. I probably would use this guitar in a live gig without a backup, however i dont think i would because i would hate to damage the finish as it is such a beautiful guitar.

Ive been playing for almost 5 years and i currently own a fender 1962 strat reissue, a Dillion DSRV-300G (which is also one amazing guitar from dillion!) and a basic starter guiatar. My favorite feature on this guitar has to be the brilliant craftmanship and the awesome translucent acrylic body. If this guitar were stolen, once i had finished crying my eyes out, i think i would probably jump off a bridge as this is number 1 of 8 and i seriously doubt i would be ablt to find another one :-(. If i could give you one piece of advise when considering buying a new guitar, it would be BUY A DILLION, there is no way you could get such amazing quality for such a low price at fender, gibson, or any other large dealer.
