Standard Strat features - one volume, two tone controls, three single-coil pickups.

I modified the guitar by adding Tom Anderson hum-cancelling pickups in the neck and middle positions, and a Seymour Duncan JB Junior pickup in the bridge. Also replaced the stock tuners with Sperzel locking tuners.
The result is a guitar that has a darker sound than the Fender SRV Strat, but oh, what a sound it is! First rate!
My 10 rating is for the Eko ST-SV Strat with the above modifications.
These guitars are no longer made by Eko, but if you can get one, do it :)

Haven't deal with Eko. They do make a guitar these days called the "Camaro" which is probably highly similar to the discontinued ST-SV model.
