Italian guitar, looks good. It's got 2 non-standard pick-ups. 2 tone and 2 volume controls. this semi-hollowbody has a elevated tailpiece and the bridge is held dowm by the strings. it has 21 frets. It's very easy to adjust the distance of the strings to the neck, and thats good for different styles of play.

It has a nice clean sound, but if i put some distortion on it, it starts to sound a lot less good. Other effects have no effect on the quality it's all good!. It seems to have a raw sound, especially on the low strings. With the right setup i can get a great bb king sound out of it.

The tuners are crappy, but I couldn't find if they are standard. the rest of the guitar is OK

The guitar is really old, it's from the early 60's and it's still here. It never really let me down, so i my opinion, it's a high quality guitar

I wish the tuning on this eko was a bit better, but i can replace the tuners. The neck feels really good in my hand and i really enjoy playing it. I don't think i'll ever get rid of it because to me it's pretty special.

Sunburst finish, semi-hollow body guitar. 2 weird looking black singel coil pickups, 2 tone nobs, 2 volume nobs, 3 way pickup selector. Bridge is not set (Held in place by string tension, I guess), with a floating trapieze tailpiece. 21 fret rosewood (?) neck. Made in the 60s, has a Made in Italy label on the back of the headstock. Everything I wanted in a semi-hollowbody guitar with th exception of p-90s and a vibrato tailpeice, but I can live without those extras.

This guitar sounds great, even though it is so old. I use it as my standard tunning guitar to play psycho-billy to grunge. The output is weaked compared to newer guitars, but all you have to do is adjust amp volume to make up for that. Has a nice semi-hollow guitar sound, sounds great with or without distortion. I have a very diverse set-up since I play Sonic Youth-ish stuff on my solidbody guitars, but here it is: Guitar - Small Stone (ri) - Big Muff (ri) - Korg 411fx Super Multi-Effects pedal - Digitech XP300 Space Station - DOD DF94 4 second digital delay/samper - Fender Bandmaster Reverb tube amp w/ KMD 4X12 cab. This guitar has a great sound, but it would sound better with p-90s (my favorite pickup) but I don't think I'll replace them yet.

The action was great when I got it, so I take it that it was built right. It had to have been since it has lasted this long! There are typical old guitar flaws on it...small finish crackes, dings on the corners, but you really can't notice those unless your close up and looking for them. Pickups are weird because they are mounted, then mounted on the mounting. I am not touching them, but I wonder if that was a design that was just lost?

It is still here. 60s to 90s...I know of A LOT of other stuff that hasn't lasted that long!

Great guitar, great sound. I was looking for a Casino when I found this suprise hanging on the wall. After playing it, I knew it was great. That is the way I test guitars, it it sounds great unplugged as is, then it will sound good with everyting else (of course if the pickups are shot, then that doesn't count!) I am glad I found thi sguitar, I am sure it will be worth more in the future. Just a great old guitar!
