EKO VL-480

Standard Les Paul layout. 2001? model from Italy. Beautiful Sunburst finish. Rivals ANY I've seen elsewhere. I believe it is a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Not sure of the rest of the wood but it is VERY solid. Tuners are very smooth.

This thing sounds sweet. I play a wide range of music so I like a wide range of sounds. I play through a Twin reverb reissue so the clean sounds I can get out of this guitar are amazing. With the neck pickups I get a bright really chimey bell-like sound. Playing the neck and bridge pickups gives me a nice hollow, poppy sound. And the bridge pickups can get real dirty if you want them to. All of the pickups are very high output but extrmely quiet (no hum).

the guitar came strung with ten's which I don't like. I changed them to 11's and it sounds much better. The low E string sounds a little dead and flat but I talked to the guy at my local store and he said it's no big deal, just a small intonation or pickup adjustment. I was going to get it set up anyway. The binding is flawless as is the rest of the guitar. I bought it off of EBAY so I thought for sure that I was going to find something wrong, something loose, chips, cracks etc., but I didn't. It arrived in pristine condition.

Have only had it for a few weeks but it seems very durable. This thing is built rock solid. Everything on it is high quality. Yes I would and will gig with it.

Been playing about nine years. Also have an American Strat, G&L ASAT (tele)(unbelievable), Guild DCE-5 and a Conde Hermanos classical. Only had it a few weeks so it's obviously my favorite guitar right now but I think it will remain one of my favorites for a long time to come. If stolen, Yes I would buy again after getting out of jail for killing the thieving bastard who stole it. Always wanted a Les Paul type, not a Les Paul (I think they're ridiculously overpriced). I looked at Epiphones, Ibanezes, old Univoxes, and some oddballs. The only other one I considered was an older Ibanez but at the time I saw one I liked I had no cash. However, as usual, things work out for the better and I am now very happy.

New. Black Les Paul style with Gold Pups and hardware. It is from EKO in Italy. Carved top, all the typical LP controls, etc. 2 really bright, crisp Humbuckers, ebony finish. They have done a great job of detailed binding around the body and head, makes the guitar look worth a lot more than I paid for it. Good tuners, tune-o-matic bridge, etc. Pretty good all round. No bag included. bummer.

rips. It sounds great cranked out with my stomp distortion, and also sounds great with no stuff in the way. Rich, bright, crisp and quiet when I need it to be.

Bought it on EBAY, so always needs a tune after travelling in the mail. Setup was good. I put new heavy strings on it because thats what I like. A few minor finsih flaws (I'm picky) but for a $300 guitar, I expected that. Better than average.

I play it daily. I've had it for 4 months and i have no complaints. Very dependable. Yes, I'd gig it every night if I could get the work.

Seller on EBAY was a cool dude. Better experience that I have had at Guitar Center by FAR!!!!! have had no problems, but if I did, yarddogolfer would cure it, no doubt.

I will buy another one or another EKO, good deal all round, good seller, good guitar. Still looks cool every morning when I wake. That says a lot.
