This is a 2004 Kamikaze 1 lefty from Japan. Simply amazing to look at. Beautiful finish that spends only playing time out of its case. The jumbo frets, 1 3/4 fretboard and flat neck make this a pure shredder.

I play metal and hard rock in the style of Randy Rhoads, Malmsteen and of course George Lynch. The 'Screamin Demon' pick-up is a dead ringer for that Lynch 80's sound. But the one problem is the neck pick-up. this is an ESP pick-up and is utterly unplayable - flat, ugly, low output - there is just nothing about this pick-up worth keeping. As of this writing, I haven't replaced the pick-up, but if anyone has any suggestions for the neck pick-up, please email me at: craigbernard01@gmail.com

Perfectly set-up from the factory with no flaws, paint drips, or bad fittings. Flawless quality.

I have two Les Pauls, and this guitar weighs more than both my Gibson Studio and my Custom. That being said, its built as sturdy as the Yamamoto or Bismarck. I wouldn't gig with this due to its rarity and the delicate headstock.

Actually had to return an early model that I never got to play, due to neck problems. Took ESP over two months to ship another, but that could be due to the rarity of a lefty. On the phone, they're kind of dick-headed about stuff but they do follow through.

It is the best of all my guitars, and I could never think of it ever getting stolen; hence it never gets gigged with. The minute you pull it out, people go quiet. If you're not a shredder with serious chops this guitar just isn't for you. It's like those crazy over-dressed big hair players from the 80's: from the outrageous paint job to the banana headstock, this guitar screams 'chops from hell' . I wanted one so bad when I was 16, but it took me 16 years to get good enough to buy this and play it. My only complaint is that one crappy neck pick-up. The humbucker makes up for it, but i only see more possibilities with the right pick-up in the neck. My pleas go out to George to remedy this. In the mean-time I'm saving for another before ESP stops making them.

I run it through a Saldano Hot Rod 100 & a 5150 Combo I play Lefty & had to custom order it. Im glad I did, the ones on the shelf are not what George Lynch Uses! This thing was made for one thing! SCREAMIN! And it does it like no other ( Sorry Ibanez Jem).I ditched the Screamin Demon pick-up instantly. Its a Duncan 57 with a ceramic magnet. My biggest gripe is the weight, Its solid maple with very little wood removed. It weghs more than My Les-Paul! But thats why its as responsive as it is.

Again, Being a Custom Order its much better finnished than the ones Ive seen on the shelf. This is the 1st Guitar Ive puchased in the 20yrs Ive been playing that was perfectly set up (Carvin deserves special mention here as well)Guitar techs usually cant set up Left-Handed Guitars. Overall the fit & finnish was Excellent.

This thing is strong & holds its set-up like no other Guitar Ive ever Owned.I wrangle the hell out of the recessed Floyd (Steve Vai doesnt have shit on me). Ive ripped them out of other guitars! This thing is a beast! Stays in tune. I'd use it in a heartbeat without a back up if theyd invent strings out of Titanium (no fault of the guitars)

The only good thing I can say about them is they got George Lynch to sign it. Otherwise, as a company they suck! It took way too long to deliver this Guitar (11 months!)Its way overpriced & they are the rudest ppl Ive ever dealt with over the phone. Im glad I own it, but never again.

I understand that ESP has a new Custom shop & things have improved. I hope so! For the Money they get it better improve! Its a shame the buying experience was so lousy cause I really love this Guitar. If it were stolen, Id find a good custom builder & have it copied.
