Features : 10
I believe it was a 2000 model, I don't know where it was made but I think it was made in Japan. It has 24 frets I think (It was my friends guitar, I just played it for a while). It is a solid body with a black paint over it. It has 2 volumes and one tone. The pick ups are both the EMG 81 humbuckers. Oh! And also the neck was bolted on and it had a floyd rose. So for all the features I give it a 10 because it has a lot of stuff, even though I haven't liked the floyd rose on my guitar since the day I bought it.

Sound : 10
I play a wide assortment of things... Smashing Pumpkins, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana... I even learned a few Hammet solos in my shredder days. I didn't run it through any effects the I tried it out I just ran it into a Line 6 Spider (practice amp) on the Mesa Boogie setting and tired it out. I must say it sounds really good. It can cut through the setting on a super high distortion with the EQ set up like this: Treble - 0, Mid - 0, and Bass - 10. Which is really impressive.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 5
Here is the deal... and this is my only problem. I didn't think it felt good... maybe it was just me. But I have a Ibanez RG 570. And the RG cost a lot less and felt a lot better... funny how I like the feel but don't like the sound of the RG and I like the sound of the KH but not the feel... anyway... I'd just say the neck bothered me.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I don't know. My friend treats his guitar like it was his own dick. It feels pretty solid though, so I'll give it a 10.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them, I just tired it out.

Overall Rating : 10
Well, here is the whole point of why I wrote this review. I was really into metal when I bought my Ibanez. I liked the flash and the floyd rose and what not and that was the motivation for buying it. I think the KH is like wise. I recommend you go out and try a Les Paul or a really good Strat before you consider buying one of these because 1) What do you think Kirk really uses for his records? If you really want to know he uses Les Pauls, Strats, Parker Flys, and a few Jacksons... maybe his KH's too. And 2) Floyd Roses are a real pain in the ass! And finally 3) You might not be into the metal thing forever. I progressed. Although solo's are interesting... do they really mesh musically and display musical writing talent or showmanship? Exactly! I mean if you know someone who isn't into guitar and ask them if they like Eddie Van Halen you'll probably get a big "Hell no, that guy is annoying. Why the hell did he ruin that Roy Orbison song?" So before you go out and purchase that bad boy... try some other stuff. I give the guitar a 10 though because it is a good guitar. I think there is better stuff out there though.
