this guitar is mainly built for 1 thing and 1 thing only RIFFING! superb low end tone with beautiful clean sound to back it up!!
Action, Fit, & Finish

action How low can you go! super low wonderful for tapping and harmonics of all kinds and hammer-ons. the finish is great with a mean spider graphic to make it look the true metal guitar it also has mean inlays which add to it being 1 of the best metal ESP signaturs around.

This guitar is amazing not only can it take being hauled around on the road with the mighy riffing gods metallica , it can with stand a brutal preformance and from the most blood and sweat enduced solo's.
you can virtually rip the tremolo system off and it will stay intune its perfect for this guitar!!
wonderful mix of volume and tone , the way kirk has customised this guitar on its volume and tone controls can give the perfect balance for any player.
Some times this is the only guitar i have at a gig along with a ESP grynch if its not too big and its so trust worthy!!

this guitar was made in korea. it has 24 medium frets which i dont like for soloing. they are pretty good for the heavier stuff but like i said they are not very good for soloing. paint job is black with yellow pushhead graphic spider. original floyd rose double locking tremolo. it came with case which i like. it has dual emg 81's. i dont like having 2 of them but it sounds ok i guess. massive crunch and pretty hot in the bridge but i dont recommend it in the neck.

i play heavy metal like black sabbath, slayer, pantera, metallica, godsmack, whitezombie, ozzy with zakk and randy, and black label society etc. i also play some zeppelin and older stuff. i run my guitar through a piece of shit crate blue voodoo half stack. i hate the damn thing. im gonna get a mesa triple rectifier. MASSIVE CRUNCH :) the guitar is pretty quiet in the neck but can have some feedback when on the bridge 81. its got a trebly sound to it which is ok for faster lines or some of the newer live metallica sound. when set on the neck and on clean channel it is very full and i like that sound alot. like i said before the frets are too damn small. it fits some of my style but it lacks bottom end but has plenty of highs probablly b/c its made for lead duh but i would still expect more lower end. i can get some good artifical and natural harmonics from it.

ok here is some good things. the neck is very fast. the action was set perfect from the store i got it from. there was a small chip of paint in the headstock from people messin with it but randy fixed it and u cant even tell it was there. the guitar has a real nice feel to it but the paint has some wierd ass lines going through it. u cant see it unless there is light shining on it just right but other than that its good.

this guitar is built very well to be made in shitty ass korea. the strap locks are too damn small though so i suggest u buy bigger ones. the floyd rose takes a beating from my whammy dives and still stays in tune. the paint should last forever. it feels thick. if u buy one u will know what i mean. it is very dependable. i would not prefer gigging without a back up b/c of the floyd rose. i was jammin with some buddies one time and after the "die" part in crepping death i done this hard vibrato and the high e snapped and everything fuckin went out of tune

i have been playing for about 2 years now or so and i own a crate blue voodoo half stack which im selling cuz it aint worth pissing on. im gonna get me a fuckin MESA TRIPLE OR DUAL RECTIFIER SOLO HEAD the 3 channel version. this guitar would be alot better if it had bigger frets. its a damn set neck which sucks ass. i do love the fuckin inlays. spiders to the 12th then skull n crossbones. thats bad ass. i also owna jackson pro dinky reverse 7 string but i bought that way back and its almost as good as the fuckin kh3 and it was like 700 bucks. if this guitar was stolen i would be glad and i would never buy it again. i plan to sell this and my other jackson and get me a kv2 and a soloist 2h. do your self a favor and get a USA made jackson. they are extremely good guitars for thier price and blow all of this korean bullshit out of the fuckin water. and never buy a crate product. they suck ass. just wait until u get enough money to get something good and buy it. its well worth the wait. im 16 almost and i dont havea job yet but i get money and i save. it doesnt take too long to get money needed for what u want most of the time. but anyway im tired of writing so fuck this guitar

It was made January 2001 in Japan. It has 24 XJ frets, two volume knobs and one tone and a 3 way switch. Two EMG 81's pickups, an original Floyd Rose bridge, black body finish with Pushead spider graphic, spider inlay (1-9) and skulls and crossbones (12-24). It came with a really nice case, it has a closed compartment for things you don't want to lose(picks, strings...)

This guitar is awesome for metal. The neck is lightning fast and is easy to play. The clean is good too, I use it for lighter music and it works wonderfully. The sound is very rich and full and it's never noisy.

1997 with 24 XJ frets, 2 volume controls and one tone. EMG 81's baby!!! it can scream like hell!!! impressive black mirror finish with double locking floyd rose tremolo. only thing I don't like about it is the strap hook... it's too small.
Sound

it does fit some of my heavy music style but it's too high if used in a slower phrase.

Never dealt with them technically. They are very busy though as I waited a long time for my order and eventually had to go purchase it from another dealer as ESP's production factory was behind schedule by about six months.

Excellent guitar. Feels like i could pound a nail into concrete with it.(and wouldn't have to retune!) I've been playing 7 yrs and consider myself a good judge of a quality guitar.
