EC-100 24 jumbo frets, solid body guitar, 2 Hum (Bridge and Neck), 2 vol 1 master tone and a 3-way switch(Though the knobs a Backwards Neck tone is in the middle and Bridge volume is in Front .. Tone end of course), Duncan Designed passive pick-ups, Basswood Body with a Deep Black finish, single cutaway, and Tune-O-matic setup, ESP Tuners, i gave it a Ten everything i need is on this one (bridge, PU config, Con V-V-T, Colour, Frets)

Sound : 4
The sound though could use a bit of work, i play everything from Blues to Country to Metal... (Obituary, Death, so and so) .. i use a lot of Distortion ... i have to Admit it is Quiet, i play thru Crate and Marshall Amps .. to me .. the sound is too "Bright" .. lotta Mids.. GREAT for playing clean tones say .."Ktulu" ... not thick for Distorted sound .. i have 2 M-55's .. the stock ESP pickups have more .. "Thickness" to them ... switching between Neck and Bridge really dont make a difference .. even if i turn the tone knob completely to Bass .. so bluesy tones aren't that Hot .. thats what i dislike to i gave it a 4 for Sound

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
I got this Guitar from Music123 ... and it was pretty much set-up the way i have my guitars set-up ... med low action ... pickups were the right height ...Fit and Finish was good suprisingly ... Hardware was tight ... nothing loose ... it was outta tune when i got it but .. over all ... i didnt find any Serious Flaws ..

Reliability/Durability : 8
i havent really taken the guitar out on the Road .. banged it a couple of times ... still going ... black chrome is rubbing up from the Bridge (Palm-Muting) buts still black underneath so it not noticeable, strap buttons seem kinda small ... could use bigger ones .. after i set in new pickups ... this could .. to be my main guitar instead of a Back-up

HAVE NOT DEALT WITH CUSTOMER SUPPORT (Which is a good thing because, nothing's broken)

Overall Rating : 8
Ive Been Playing for about hmmm 12 years now .. i own several other guitars .. mainly ESPs, I wished i had asked Scale Length :), 24 is too small for my fingers... if it were lost or stolen yes i would get another .. my favorite feature is the "Slimy" neck .. pretty slick .. for the price i paid for it .. its DEFINATELY better then some guitar costing Hundreds more ... Great Value .. hmmm overall i rate this guitar to an 8.2 ... which is good ...

Standard E-100 with the Titanium finish. Looks real sharp.

I usually sand down the neck and put in DiMarzio's to all of my guitars (14). With this one, the stock Pickups are fantastic. Though my Boogie 390 they sound incredible.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
GREAT looking guitar.

Reliability/Durability : 8
Only time will tell, but it seems to be very durable.

Never dealt with ESP.

For the money, you can't find a better guitar. (I have been playing for 23 years and used to run seminars for Ibanez...my band has multiple endorsements and I would rather pay the $149.00 than get some of the stuff we get free!)

Great sound, good pickups for the price (Duncan Designed HB-102 set)
Not noisy, the neck pickup is great for clean/slight distortion and bridge, full distortion, clean, all good.
Two volume knobs and one tone, you can go from dark and full sounding to bright and warm sounding

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
GREAT finish, (Titanium).
I was afraid it'd be sparkly and too girlish, but its perfect. No visible flaws that I could see, everything was good, nothing loose.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I already dropped this guitar a few times, finish is thick and nice, solid strap buttons, Hardware might need replacing later on, but for now its perfect.

I have been playing for about 7 months, I have an Ibanez acoustic, Epiphone Special II and now this great guitar. This is the best guitar for under $300 and I'm glad I found it at $199. I love the curves on the guitar. I wish the lettering on the pickups didnt rub off, but that's fine, not a big deal.

Great guitar!

All black, Les Paul style with dual passive humbuckers. Two volume knobs and one tone knob. 24 frets.

Sound : 7
Make no mistake, this is a rock and roll slut of a guitar. It does only one thing well and that is to play amped up, balls to the wall music. The bridge pickup sounds great and when you lay on tons of distortion it never gets muddy. The individual notes retain their articulation. This guitar squeals like my girlfriend taking it up the ass!!
That said the neck pickup is not very good with lots of distortion. It sounded best when the amp was just breaking up a little bit...just at the threshold of distortion.
If clean sounds are important to you you should find another guitar. The pickups almost entirely lack any shimmer that makes up a good clean sound. This guitar is for entry level rockers.
One gripe...when I select the middle position, I can't blend the pickups. Both volume knobs have to be turned all the way up in order to get any signal. You can't have one all the way up and the other only half way. Very strange, I'm getting that remedied.
Also the frets are small. I find it difficult to play past the 12th fret. The smaller frets help to really dig in on the first 12 though.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
For $500 it was the best manufacturing job I saw amoungst similarly priced models. It's a lot better than the Epiphones.

Seems solid enough

I've been playing for almost 15 years. I own a American Standard Strat and play through a Blues Deluxe. I bought the E-100 because I wanted to get a tougher sound than the Strat when playing hard rock.
I didn't want to spend more $500 and the ESP E-100 was by far the best guitar out there for the money. However, I haven't decided if I'm going to keep this guitar. I may take it back and use the cash to beef up the Strat's pickups instead.

Korean made, 24 frets, 2 volume knobs, 1 tone knob, 3-way selector, H/H configuration, Duncan Designed pickups, Basswood body, Tune-O-Matic. Titanium finish.

Sound : 10
I play a lot of punk music, and that bridge pickup is AWESOME. I love the sound that comes out of that. I give that a 10. The neck pickup is cool when I play clean too, but I wouldn't suggest doing distortion on the neck pickup.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
BEAUTIFUL finish. And I mean BEAUTIFUL. The titanium color is awesome. The pickups were adjusted great. Very good action.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar will be the main guitar played at my band's gigs. Great hardware, great finish. The strap buttons are amazingly solid, there's no way I'm dropping it. But if for some reason I did, it'd probably be OK. I'd use it without a backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't had to deal with ESP.

Overall Rating : 10
I've played for 2 years, and this is my second guitar. MUCH better than my first guitar, a Squire Fat Strat. If this was stolen, I'd get another one. I'm going to love and cherish this guitar. I compared this to the Epiphone LP-100, and this was MUCH better, no contest.

BUY THIS GUITAR.

24-fret, Korean model, Basswood body, 2 vol-1 tone, H/H Seymore Duncan. Rosewood fingerboard, les-paul-like, tune-o-matic, dot inlays.

Sound : 9
I play metal and this thing suits me fine. The pickups have a real nice sound to them. I real tight crunch and I play through a 5150 and anyone with one knows how hard it is to get a tight crunch out of that! Of course I'll be making the EMG 81/60 switch real soon. Although it will be a shame to see the pickups go. Has an AWESOME clean tone! Maybe I'll put them in my les paul. Not noisy at all. I get like no feedback whatsoever. A+ for that! I wouldn't go using this to play the blues or anything. Definately a metal/rock guitar.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
The action was a little high when I got it but some simple adjusting took care of that. Now it plays like a dream. Everything was set up great. The intonation is perfect. The only thing I can say bad about it is that the volume knob on the bridge pickup scratches a little. Nothing too bad. But might need a new pot in the future.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Oh I have no doubt that this thing will survive. Its incredibly light weight so I dont walk around hunched over for the rest of the night. I haven't really beaten it up too much but I think it will last. The strap hasn't come off on me once so the positioning is perfect. I still wouldn't use it without a backup though. Nothing against the guitar or anything but in my experience I've learned that no matter what, have two of EVERYTHING! Amps and cords you can borrow. But guitars are different. If your axe goes out in the middle of a set, you don't have time you grab some other dudes guitar. By the time you get it tuned up, everyone will have lost interest.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them. Heard good things though.

Overall Rating : 10
If it were stolen, Id probably get the EC-300. Nothing against the 100 or anything, but I dont like the dot inlays too much. I compared this to the Kirk Hammett signature series and they sounded identical. which was a shock with that one having the EMG's. But oh well. So I saved a few grand on a guitar that sounds the same and doesn't have that cheesy spider sticker.

22-fret neck, 2 humbucking pick-ups, master volume and tone controls, 3-way selector switch, stop bar tail piece, tune-o-matic bridge all nicely packaged into a Les Paul style body. I bought it from American Musical Supply. It came with an ESP gigbag. I believe it is an alder body and a maple neck w/ rosewood fingerboard.

Sound : 8
I play mostly Metallica and hard rock so this is a good guitar for me. It is also good when I want to switch to something a little less heavy. I run it through a Crate GX-65 amp and it sounds great. The pick-ups seem to be a little noisy.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
The set-up on this guitar was terrific right out of the box. The bridge pick-up is starting to rust a little bit, but I've had it a year and don't really have anything to keep it from doing that. The solid black finsih was and remains flawless. I have hit the guitar off of numerous things and the finish is still completely intact.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar is the most durable and dependable I've ever owned. It's only my third, but it would definitely make it through a live gig.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I never had to deal with them and I doubt I ever will. Their guitars are simply awesome.

Overall Rating : 9
I've been playing for almost 2 years now. This is my third electric and I am definitely an ESP player now. If it was stolen I would probably get an EXP because that is what I wanted instead, but hey, it's great. I will definitely keep this guitar, unless I absolutely need to sell it. I will probably change the pick-ups to EMGs eventually.
