I'm not to sure when it was made, because it was purchased from a pawn shop. If is a solid top les-paul shaped body, with a 3 way selector switch. When I bought it someone had replaced the bridge humbucker with a Seymour-Duncan Invader, and the neck im pretty sure is the LTD humbucker. It has a tune o matic bridge with black hardware, and non locking gotoh tuners. The neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard.

Sound : 4
I play pretty much all hard rock, which i pretty much bought this guitar. The Duncan invader really gives you some great distortion but the feedback is very very annoying. The neck pickup in it is great for playing clean tones, but not much else. The Invader really destroys your clean sound. I would really say if your gonna buy this guitar, invest in some new pickups.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 5
The one thing i do love about this guitar is the action, and the fast neck. I like it because it combines the body shape of a les paul with the neck feel of a strat. The hardware is a different story. Keeping this guitar in tune is a task in itself. Everytime i play it the tuning has to be adjusted. even if i just sit it back in the stand. Definetly upgrade to some locking tuners if you buy this guitar. Im only giving it a 5 because the action is great.

Reliability/Durability : 1
This guitar is not one to play gigs with. I wouldn't depend on it without a backup. The finish seems fine, but there is just too many hardware problems.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I have never dealt with customer support because I bought it at a pawn shop.

Overall Rating : 3
I have been playing for about 2 1/2 years. If i could make the decison over again, i would have said no in buying this. For the price it would be a good starter guitar for someone trying to get into hard rock or metal playing, but because of the pickup configuration, it just isn't good for anything else. If want my opinion just save your money and buy a nice guitar.

This is a 1998 (Korean made?) with 22 extra jumbo frets, a 3-way pickup switch, and 2 Duncan-designed humbucker pick-ups. It came in a see thru red finish on a mahogany body with a rosewood fretboard. It also has a tune-o-matic bridge and Gotoh tuners.

Sound : 9
I play mostly metal and hard rock. This guitar has a rich and full sound, it's very well suited to my style of playing. Sounds great overdriven (through a solid-state Crate amp with no effects). Its sustain lasts forever and is dead quiet when plugged in. The tones that this guy kicks out could easily fit into any style of playing, it's very versatile to say the least. The pickups are good for stock p/u but they will be pulled in the future for some EMG-81s or 85s.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
It was set up beautifully. The finish was impeccable, you couldn't find a flaw if you had to. The action is extremely fast, but also kinda high out of the box. Once I lowered the action, the guitar felt absolutely perfect.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Only having had this guitar for a short time, I would guess that it will last forever. The strap buttons aren't the best and they will be changed to some that are locking very shortly. It is built for some intense usage/abuse. It feels like it could easily withstand anything any player could dish out. The finish is very thick and probably won't peel off anytime in the next few centuries. ESP did a damn fine job of building this axe. Anyone could feel comfortable playing this guitar live with no backup without question.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't had to deal with ESP yet.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing for 4 years and this is my favorite/the best guitar (of the other 3 that I've had)without question. I would immediately buy either this one or its bigger brother the Eclipse standard if I had to do it again. I got a great deal on this quailty instrument and I am very happy with my decision to buy ESP.
