Mine is a 2002 , korean , blue and its left handed

Sound : 9
I play metal and that thing NEVER let me down . I plug that baby in a line 6 spider III as a preamp , which i run into a sunn beta lead 4x10 . That sounds ****ing heavy for sure ! Pickups are pretty good for the price of the guitar , and yes the bridge one may sound a lil bit thin , you can correct that with your amp .

Action, Fit, & Finish : 4
Wasnt set up too bad , but i complained in ther music store . Intonation was off a lil bit , and the action was on the high level if you ask me , they all fixed that . The G-string tuner wasnt screwed parrallel , but this aint bad at all .

Reliability/Durability : 6
This guitar will withstand dropping it on a concrete floor , so yeah play it onstage . the finish is awesome as i really dropped it hard on the floor , and i got only a small ding in the paint . The only bad thing is the stop tailpiece , it feels like coming off its hole on the low E side , which detunes the guitar slowly (when abused or tuned to high with heavy string gauge , but pretty stable in Eb with 10-46 strings .

Customer Support : 5
They used to answer two of my emails , regarding left handed models availability .

Overall Rating : 8
I played it for 4-5 years , it sounds like the best price quality ratio you can get . Well schecter builds also great guitars that comes really close to that ESP feel . I wont bother playing anything else than a ESP/LTD guitar .

black basswood body, rosewood fingerboard, maple neck (i think) I'll give it an 9 just because its only 22 frets

Sound : 8
I play mostly hard rock, heavy and power metal... not much verstility given the number of frets and lack of a trem bar but for classic rock just use the neck pu and you get a nice tone, switch to the bridge pu and you can shred the crap out of it

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
i just had to lower the strings a bit, it NEVER went out of tune, also had to raise the pickups a bit, but that was it

Reliability/Durability : 9
it has... i used it when my band opened for Sepultura in El Salvador and i've used it live for about 25+ gigs the hardware is fine, a bit rusty after some time but that was just neglect from my part... the paint kinda chipped in a couple of places but that was also neglect, i love the strap buttons, they're big and the strap doesnt come off very easily, i have depended on it and have used it without backup... just dont use cheap strings for a heavy gig... i had to learn that the hard way

Customer Support : No Opinion
never had to deal with CS so i dont know...

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for 11 years, i own a Jackson DKMG, a Dean DS-89(latin american model.. you wont find it anywhere)i own a Crate GFX212t amp. no regrets on buying this guitar.. i actually got it because i was gonna be away from home for a about a year and just needed something cheap to practice with. To my surprise it turned out an excellent guitar.. of course i loved the looks of it. the carved top is just sexy and the small body is excellent. I actually sold it to have enough money for my jackson and wont really miss it because the jackson has what my other two guitars had combined. for this price i wouldnt ask any more from this guitar. the bridge gives it sort of a discreet classy look... no extravagant floyds or anything that would suggest shred. its just a beautiful guitar... come to think of it, im really gonna miss that baby.

to much typing, look at another review.

Sound : 8
the neck pickup sounds absolutely beautiful, sort of in between my lp and strat. the bridge pu sounds good, but not anythng to get excited about. the voulume control on mine was really bad, i got it used, but that only took 5 mins. to change.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
when i bought this, it had 10's, so i swiched to 9's. tuners are exellent, feel better than sprezels, and stay in tune very well. the action is nice and low, and the frets are very wide, but could be a bit taller.

Reliability/Durability : 9
this guitar is very light, and seems strong and dependable, i would use i without backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 10
i have been playing for 2 years, i own a 1965 arai diamond, a white gibson lp, cort, sigma, telecaster, fender blues deluxe, ....and alot of other good stuff.

With this price tag(U$ 280,00), I have to say "Great"!!!

Sound : 8
Dream Theater, Symphony X, Vai, Satch, Paul Gilbert...
Roland JC-120, Mesa Boogie, Marshall combos, GT-8, POD XT Live.
I bought this one for home practicing guitar, not for my gig.
It sounds pretty good in distortion sound but the clean tone is not that good. I prefer H/S/H type guitar. (like Ibanez RG models)
In general, it sounds nice but the versatility falls short here.
If you want some good budget rocking machine (under U$ 300.00), you can try this one and you will not be disappointed...

Action, Fit, & Finish : 5
I never count on the 'factory set up'. The next day, my luthier fixed it right.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Iy seems tough but still I will treat it very carefully.

Customer Support : 5
They could put more pictures of old models, some explanations and diffrences between each models.

Overall Rating : 10
You will get what you pay for, right?
But this one is really a great guitar in this price.
It looks beautiful and also sounds great for heavy music. (Its clean tone is not good for my ear. Too bassy)
I also heard that LTD model is especially designed for this kind of music... No complaint at all.

First off, i've been playing guitar for roughly 4 years now. The ESP LTD H-100 was my second guitar, my first was a shameful Squier Strat. I must say that in the 3 years of owning this guitar, i have not once been displeased with it. It is a deep blue colour, maple top, complete with 2 stock humbuckers, one volume and one tone, and a rosewood fretboard. I can't say I'm really displeased with its features, after all, it is a pretty basic guitar.

Sound : 7
I play several types of music, mostly rock/metal. Im using a 1976 Marshall master volume head, with a randall cabinet with 4x12 peavey black widows. The guitar has a relatively warm sound, although it is nothing special, it gives off an ok sound. But its no LP.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
The action of this guitar is very good, i have never had any problems with it what so ever. Except for my strings breaking very often, which was pretty annoying. But i fixed that problem by simply sanding down the saddles a little bit. Maybe a little bit of trouble with the input jack for a bit, but it simply needed to be tightened.

Reliability/Durability : 8
I have played with this guitar live once. Im not a very big gig goer, but it withstood a gig i played, and I believe that it would not be much of a problem. It is very reliable. But no, i would never play a gig without a backup guitar.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to deal with anybody.

Overall Rating : 8
Like i mentioned previously, i have been playing about 4 years, i own a BOSS overdrive pedal, Metalzone, EQ, Flanger, Digital reverb/delay, Line selector, all BOSS. If it were stolen or lost, it would give me more of an excuse to get a LP, but i would be sad without it, it's basically the guitar i learned to play on. I basically chose this guitar because it was in my price range, as well as middle range quality.

I dont know what year it was made, but it was made in Korea. It has 22 frets. Its a Solid Top.It has a volume and tone knobs and a 3 way selector. Its all factory. Its wine red and vary shiny.Strat Style body. Its a stop bar tremelo.I got a tuner, cable, hard case, strap and some strings with it.

Sound : 10
I play all styles of music ,but Hendrix;s blue/acid rock style is what I love to play. It suits well for that style.I have a Rp2000 and I use about every effect on there for this guitar. Its not noisy at all.I play with my teeth and the way the pick ups are set up I dont shock myself much. I dont have any disklikes about it.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
I dont know if it was set up by the last owner because i bought it from him, but it was set up great when i got it. The color on this guitar is great. I hate red but this red looks great on it.

Reliability/Durability : 10
It has withstood playin live with a friend's band. The hardware looks like it will last. The finish is superv on it.I have no complants about it.Strap buttons are never loose on it.I can depend on this guitar anytime.I always have a back up guitar but dont need to really rely on it.

Like everyone else had said, it has the basic tone and volume control. Same number of frets with 2 humbuckers. Made in Korea and came with no accessories since I bought it used. Its just the basics but it works as my first guitar! It is a pearl white color, which I have never seen before on this guitar. It is actually quite nice.

Sound : 8
When I play this baby clean it sounds a lot like a Sratocaster, IMO it has a very blues driven sound. With reverb on it is very noisy turned up high, but its not going to be the greatest sounding guitar at a price under 300.00, but its pretty good for the value. I play mostly blues and metal. The neck is real fast and smooth, I like that part a lot

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
I dont know about factory set up, but the store I got it at set it up nice and the action is awesome on this bad boy. Pickups sound different with different switch configurations, etc...

Reliability/Durability : 10
I have never had a problem with this guitar. I have had it for a good, solid year. I have hit the wall with it a couple times and nicked it as well, but it still plays great.

Ive been playing for about 3 years and started with a friends acoustic Ibanex, forgot the model. I then picked up a Fender DG-16 acoustic in black from Sam Ash and that thing is awesome, probably the best looking and sounding guitar for under 300 bucks. I am now in the hunt for a new guitar that has more features and sounds a lot better. It is either going to be a Epiphone Les Paul Goth Studio, Epiphone Les Paul Custom or the Ibanez RGT42FM. I wouldnt buy another ESP LTD-H 100 if it were stolen, I would upgrade to one of the models I have just explained!

It would be nice to have a few more knobs but it could also be worse. I think it was made it 2002 or 2001 and it was made in Korea but it hasn't shown signs of weekness. Theres 22 frets and the top is all solid. The only controls they gave were just volume and bass, it puts limitations but for what i paid for was fine. The neck pick up is short and the bridge is high. All I know about the pick ups are that they are factory style, I have heard they sound like crap on this model and that most people should go and by new pick ups but im pleased. Shortly after getting the guitar i got a new Marshall 100 watt amp and its better than I am. The woods are both basswood and I think the style of body that people call it is a soloist. My paint job is just a solid gloss and the bridge is a stop tail piece and im not to sure about the tuners. For what I paid for, 260, (it was used for a week and then was sold to me)Im very pleased.

Sound : 8
I play mostly hard rock and hardcore stuff, quick and hard, but for the most part it handles well. Im just using my marshall and I just got a digitech rp200. There is very little fret ringing and thats only on the low e string. It can get dirty really good but the bright sound that I bearly use is ok, I almost never use both pick ups at once. Just mess around with the toggle switch and that can show you. But having the 2 knobs doesn't give all the variety in the world. I just want more knobs but it nice how it is.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
So far the guitar is holding up fine and I love its duribilty but the only problem I have is the nut that comes loose at the jack where u put the cord in. The paint job is nice but its black so its hard to keep clean. The first time i played it at the store I fell in love with the fit. It rides high on you and makes it very easy to play.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I love playing this infront of people because its light and easy to handle. It can easily last a shows and everything is solid. I have done many shows without a back up.

I have been playing for 2 years and I have a Marshall valvestate and an old peavey. If it was lost I would save more money and go and buy a vipor 301. I love this guitar because its easy as hell go around with it and playing. I dont really worry about braking it but the jack nut parinoids me and the headstock is pretty cool. I compared it to a fender strat but I want a sound that isn't like all the other kids playing power chords and that are in cover punk bands. I just went for a sound all my own. If i could have one thing extra on it it may be a pick guard or a wammy bar. DON'T BUY GLOSSY BLACK GUITARS.

1999 LTD H-100 made in the USA, 22 jumbo frets, Archtop, Volume-Tone-3 Way Selector, H/H Pickup configuration, (2 LTD stock passive pickups) Basswood Body, Maple U Shaped Neck - Rosewood fingerboard, Electric Blue Finish, Mix between a PRS McArty Archtop and a Strat, Tune-O-Matic/Stop Tailpice bridge, Stock closed/lubed gears.

I gave this category a 5 because it's sweet and simple, no extra stuff you don't need.

Sound : 10
My music style is blues and this guitar fits it perfectly. I use the guitar with a Marshall Valvestate VS102R 2x12 combo amp. The guitar can be noisy if you want it to be. It can also be really quiet. The Bridge pickup alone is noisy, but when you use both pickups together, or just the neck pickup, it's really warm and mellow. For clean I keep the Bass at 5, the Mid at 8-9, and the Treble Maxed. When I use distortion I keep the Treble and Bass Maxed, and The Mid all the way down. The guitar has a rich warm sound and can take you from blues, to jazz, to rock, to anything. I love her sound and the tone is incredible.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 4
The guitar wasn't set up too well from the factory. I had to adjust the action to be able to keep the guitar in tune past the 12th fret. The pickups were aligned great, but the neck pickup shorted out on me a few times. I took it into Guitar Villa to get it fixed. It still goes out every once in a while, but it's no big problem. The pickup selector itself is a little noisy too.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar already withstood live playing. It's very road worthy. The finish is really durable, the tuning gears stay pretty tight... I've had to tighten them only once in a year and a half. The strap buttons are solid, and I reinforced the bottom buttom with a two inch screw from the back of a marshall cabinet. I can really depend on this guitar... and I have. I do gig with it without a backup, although I'd like a tele for the single coil sounds.

Customer Support : 10
Never used it but it has a lifetime guarentee. Guitar Villa told me that ESP is extremely customer friendly.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for 4+ years. This guitar took the place of a B.C. Rich Gunslinger II that I used to have. If this guitar was stolen, I'd lose a piece of myself, and I'd buy one again. I've compared this to Strats, Les Pauls, Parkers, Ibanez, B.C. Rich, PRSs, and many others. I haven't found one that sounds nearly this good yet. I wish it had a graphite bridge, the stings break pretty easily for me.

I've had My H-100 for a year and a half now. It's the only guitar I've ever said "This is all i'll ever need." about. I play the blues and it's perfect for it. It was purchased at Guitar Villa in Bethlehem, which happesn to be a certafied ESP dealer. All ESP/LTD guitars (to my knowledge) are made in the USA. It has 22 jumbo frets, is arch topped, one volume know, one tone knob, a 3-way selector, all chrome hardware, and 2 LTD Humbuckers (I'm getting the neck pickup chrome covered and replacing the bridge pickup with the dimizario pickup I used to have in my B.C. Rich. The Pickups are both passive and very quiet when you want them to be; as they are loud and noisy when you want them to be. The neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard, not too fat and not too thin, U shaped and perfectly comfortable. The body is made of basswood and has an electric blue finish. The body style is a mix between a PRS McArty archtop and a Strat. The bridge is a Tun-O-Matic/Stoptail piece. It came with really nice lubed/enclosed tuning gears, and they can be tuned as good as any fine tuner. I gave my guitar a 5 on Features because it is short and sweet. Everything you'll ever need, and no extra garbage.

Sound : 10
I play, love, and live the blues. It's my heart. and this guitar fits it perfectly. The neck pickup isn't as bassy as a Les Paul's Neck pickup, and it's bassier than a Strats neck pickup. The Neck humbucker is really bright and has a distinctive sound. It's not like most humbuckers, and unlike most neck pickups I've used, it's not too trebley. When you use the two together, it gives a great bluesy mellow sound. The Guitar's moody. If you want it to be loud and noisy, you can make it that way by either adjusting your tone and volume, or the way I do it... with the amp. The basswood body although in expensive is extremely toneful and it gives a warm sound. I use her trhough a Marshall VS102 2x12 Valvestate amp, and every once in a while, I hook her up to my tube screamer. The guitar gives all the tone. I have my amp set at bass-10, mid-8, and treble-10 for clean and bass, mid and treble maxed at 10 for distortion. As for variety of sounds, that's up to you. you're the one who has to makes her talk, but I will tell you that she doesn't hold you back in any way at all. I love the over all feel, weight and bond i have with my guitar. But like i said she's moody, you have to play her right, and she'll do you no wrong.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 4
The guitar was set up horribly from the dealer but i changed that. I had to re-intonate it, adjust the action, and lower the saddle. It was setup like an acoustic. The pickups were aligned correctly... perfectly, and all the electronics were good. I had a few episodes (and still do) where the bridge pickup won't get any juice. I had it corrected but it still comes back every once in a while. All i have to do is toggle the selector a bit and it will come on. Not a big problem and doesn't come up that often. I've had the guitar a year and a half and i've only had to tighten the tuning gears once. Also, the input jack gets loose ver easily. Most of the problems I've had with this guitar, I can fix myself. My advice would be to get it in for a setup at least twice a year.

Reliability/Durability : 10
WIll this guitar withstand live playing? Just ask the 450 people at a show I played and you'll get the answer. It's incredibly responsive and it stays in tune. The hardware is extremley durable. I'm rough on guitars. It's held up extremely well and only has 3 visible dents. I created them all myself by not being careful enough. This guitar's gonna last longert than me. The finish is really durable and doesn't wear easily (although i'd like it to) I like the look of a worn guitar that's been played with soul. The strap locks are really solid. I made them that way even more, but they were in the first place. I took a 2 inch screw out of the back of my Marshall 4x10 cab and put it on the back strap button. That way i can fling it around and I know it will never come off. The top straplock still has the original screw in place, but a new stap button. It's black instead of the chrome hardware it came with. I did that for looks only. I would advise you to look for a graphite saddle for tis guitar, the strings break if you strum very fast and hard very easily, but if you're not planning on doing that, I wouldn't bother. I can and do depend on this guitar, it being the only one i currently own. There's nothing more i could want in a guitar. I've used it numerous times without a back up, although i had an acoustic for the acoustic songs. I would like to get a tele for a back up, but only because I'd like the different sound of the single coils. You can't go wrong with a Fender... Or this guitar.

Customer Support : 10
I haven't used the customer support, but the guitar has a lifetime guarentee. Guitar villa (the dealer) also said they are extremly helpful when it comes down to problesm.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for 4+ years now. I've owned a B.C. Rich Gunslinger 2 guitar and it didn't come close. Before I bought this guitar I wish i would have had it setup. If it was lost or stolen, First off I'd never lose it.. and if it was stolen... I don't really know what I'd do. Every guitar has a soul, and no two are made alike, I'd lose a part of myself; but I'd definetly find one as close to mine as possible, and buy it. I love it's over all presence. It's beautiful, it sounds great, and for as far as I'm concerned someone must have been thinking about me and the blues when they made her. The only thing I hate is that i didn't find her a long time ago. My Faveorite feature is that it doesn't have too much garbage. Volume. Tone. What else do you need? If you can't play with a direct connection to your amp on volume and tone alone, you might as well not play at all. I've compared this guitar to a Strat, a B.C.Rich, and numerous other guitars I've played at guitar shops. Nothing... NOTHING comes close. The only thing i really wish it had was a graphite saddle, my old pickup in the bridge, and a chrome covered Neck Pickup. That's all in due time. I'd like to leave my rating with this. If you play the blues, rock, punk, or whatever. Just as long as you put your heart and soul into it, this is the guitar for you.

This guitar was made in 2000 has 22 frets, carved strat style body, two LTD pickups (humbuckers), one volume and one tone knobs, 3 way toggle select, and stop bar/tune o matic bridge. Mine is the Black Cherry finish with black hardware. The body is made of basswood and the neck is made of maple. Came with cable and neck rod key.

I run this bad boy into a Crate GX-140C combo. I play Heavy Metal (Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, most older bands). For that type of music it works very good even on clean it sounds good. If you like deep palm mutes this thing has them.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
From Musicians Friends/Factory??? the action was just the way I like it. The only flaws with it was the intunation(sp?) was a little flat for my taste.

Reliability/Durability : 7
The finish can't take a few hits, like putting it in the case but hitting the edge of it by stupidity. Your pick might eat it off kind of fast too.

Never dealt with ESP but Musicians Friend was good. I first ordered it in black but it was on backorder, they let me change the color with out a hook.

This guitar was made in Korea... don't know the year though. 22 frets, basswood body, two humbuckers, volume knob, tone knob, 3-way selector switch. It's kind of like a strat in shape, but different. It's got a tune-o-matic bridge, LTD deluxe tuners, rosewood fingerboard. It's got nice inlays... that abalone stuff I think. Has a shiny finish... don't know what exactly. Came with a cable. 8 feet maybe?

Sound : 10
This thing has great sound. It works really well with rock and metal, which is my main style. I use it with a Rogue CG-30R amp. I haven't tried it with any effects yet. It's most excellent with the thick, heavy sound of metal, but also good with smoother and softer styles. Great for playing Metallica, and great with GN'R too.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
This guitar was set up magnificently. Not a flaw in it. Compared to my Peavey Raptor I, it's much easier to play faster, more complicated lead parts. Pickups are excellent, as is everything else.

Reliability/Durability : 9
This thing looks like it'll take a good beating. I haven't tried to, but I'm sure it would. Finish looks nice and the hardware's very good. Definately lasting. The strap buttons are excellent. This guitar won't pop off the strap any time soon. I'd definately gig w/o backup.

I haven't had to deal with the company, since the guitar's brand new and excellent. The warranty is a life-time one

I've been playing for a year and a half. This guitar is my pride and joy. I'm very glad I bought it. I also own a Peavey Raptor I, Kamen Montana, CryBaby wah pedal, Peavey Rage 158 amp, and a Rogue CG-30R amp. If this thing was stolen, I'd be pissed as hell. I love it soooo much. I don't really have a favorite feature. It's a marvelous work of art. It comes in nice colors too.

The year it was made in was 99.It was made in Korea. It has 22 frets which I could care last about. The top is laminated, there are 1 volume and 1 tone control. It has two humbuckers which I like the most.I am not really sure what kind of pickups it has(but they are pretty hot for me).I have passive electronics which I like instead of having active. The body is made out of basswood(which is very light). The neck is made out of korean wood. The finish is a Red which really looks nice on stage. This guitar is very nice because of the stop tailpiece. The tuners are a non locking brand made by ESP.The neck is the best. For me I like to slide a lot and on this guitar it's a piece of cake. When I got this guitar it had no case or nothing but that was ok for me.

My music style is playing heavy metal and this guitar cuts the cake for the price. It is a great piece of work. The way this guitar is setup is great. The amp I use is an old Laney pro tube lead(this amp is really good but the three preamps makes it hard to get that right sound).I use a marshall jackhammer, and a rogue E.Q petal. This guitar gives off a rich sound and a bright sound also. The only thing is dont keep the volume all the way when doing leads.Because you get a bad overtone. This guitar can make what ever sound you want its for you to make that choice. The likes is that its cheap, plays great and its great for all kinds of music. The dislike is the the three way switch because of the muddyness of it.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
when the guitar came to my house it was great. The factory really did a good job on everything. The action could not have been any better when it came out of the package. The pickups were just right. But the only thing was the paper over pickups you have to take that off.The guitar had no flaws or anything I was really happy on how good of a job ESP did on my guitar.

Reliability/Durability : 10
If I had a choice to play any guitar to play I would play this.I have had this guitar for about a year and I have not broke a string let. This guitar can take anything you dish out to it(it holds).I have no worry about the hardware lasting. This finish on this guitar is so good I think it's never going to ware off no matter what you do.The strap buttons are good enough but I have locking ones just in case.Yes for the months I have had this I had no worry's.I use the guitar every wear I go,and I have used this guitar without any backup for gigs.

I have dealt with Esp one times and they were very friendly. No I don't need to get this guitar repaired I have my dad to do it for me.The warranty is on it is for life.So I don't need to compane

I have been playing for about 10yrs,I have alot of other guitars amps and petals.I wish I could have got this guitar for free? But it was worth paying for.If it was stolen or lost I would problay buy this guitar again. What I love about the guitar is how the body is made it feels really good when you play on stage.I don't hate anything about this guitar. My Favorite is the head stock it looks really good on the guitar.Esp did a good job writing LTD.I chose this guitar because I seen metallica using the brand so I thought it would sound just like them and it does. Maybe later I'll get some EMG 81 or 85 but for now I'm set.All I can say is go out and buy one it's worth the you pay.

this guitar is great, has a nice carved top, great lightweight body, super fast neck. it has black hardware, a stop-tailpiece, 2 humbucker pickups, mine is a black cherry finish, almost a purple-red, it is beautiful. some of the other reviews complained about the nut, well, mine doesnt have any problems, no buzzing or anything. id say the one thing i dislike most about it is the bridege pickup, its wayyyyy to midrangy. but this is my favorite guitar so far, compared to the strat i was playing, the strat felt like plastic. but i only got a cable with it cuz it was in AMS dent and scratch section, you should check that out, there really wasnt any dents or scratches on it, just a couple pick scratches.

i play emo, and for those of you who know what that is, this guitar works great. when i stick on the neck pickup i get that way heavy hardcore sound, and when i switch to both pickups i get the great sound that is very well balanced. the guitar is virtually silent, i couldn't tell that i had left my mixer and stuff on cuz i didnt hear a thing. it sounds very alive, it doesnt sound or feel fake, it has a very transparent tone.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
this is the part where i couldnt find anything wrong with it. it was set up perfectly, it is in perfect tune all the way up the neck, everything was set up amazingly, the action was just a tad higher than what i like, but i like it pretty low so it was pretty good, im not gonna mess with it. id say the only thing is the pickup selector was a little loose. no biggie.

Reliability/Durability : 9
im pretty sure this guitar will withstand live playing, i guess we'll find out in october when my band has to open for 7/10 split. the strap buttons are amazingly good, i usually put on strap locks, but i dont plan on doing that for a while. the finish seems good i really havent done any damage to it yet except i have poison ivy and my medicine is getting on it where my wrist sits. i plan on gigging with out a backup cuz usually the bands i play with would loan my their guitars if something happened to mine. but if i didnt know the band personally, then i would take one.

ive only dealt with esp in a question form, asking them things, nothing amazing, they did good.

ive been playing 3 years now, my firat electric being one of those crappy sears guitars. that broke, and i was stuck borrowing guitars for the rest of the time. so this is my first good electric. i played a freinds strat for a long time, but that felt and sounded like crap compared to this. if it was stolen, id be pretty upset and i would definetly buy it again. i think the neck is the best part of it, it feels so smooth. and the sound is so transparent, it is amazing. i compared it to a strat, a tele, a dearmond, a SG(which i didnt get cuz it was an epiphone and my other guitar player in my band already had a Gibson SG standard), and a bunch of others. i dont remember which all ones. i wish it had a case. i guess for the price i payed ($250) this was a great guitar. id suggest buying it, but only if you are into power music, like metal or emo or hardcore or punk. but it doesnt seem to fit in right in punk, it looks to classy.

This guitar came with 2 stock non-Duncan pickups. I actually think they sound kinda good. The bridge p/u is rather too thin for my taste, but i think the neck pickup absoletuly rocks, but then again, i like my sound really thick (but not too muddy). Setup is: ESP --> Crybaby Wah --> Ibanez chorus/flange --> Ibanez Classic Metal --> Samick LA40R. I usually use both pickups for clean tones, and the bridge with distortion. I messed around with guitar for a long time unsatified until i put on some heavier strings (.52--.11s) and this really made a difference. I dont drop down to D that often, and i think that because of the rather low action, id get too much string slack. Nevertheless, for the price......its an excellent guitar.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Actions a lil low, but not too bad at all....good for beginners who dont really have much strenght in their fingers. Finish was a dull grey (no gloss), but i actually kinda like it because it changes a lot with the light. Bridge is Chrome tune a matic (flatbar) and ill probably change it black Floyd Rose soon. Also, ill prolly change the pickups soon, but im not sure to what...either EMGs or Gibson 85s.
No flaws when purchased.

Reliability/Durability : 7
Only had one slight problem with the toggle switch, but that fixed itself with no problem and cost. The input jack is kinda loose, but i just have to remember to screw it back in every once in a while.

Never dealt with em.

Very nice for the price. One day ill switch to a Marshall stack/PRS combo, but this will do till then.
