Indonesian made, 2005
Floyd Rose Licenced bridge, locking nut
3 way blade switch
Pickups: ESP LH-150 H-H
Tone

Supposed to be black, but when i bought it i was 100% sure that is green, than at home it looked like it is kind of purple...very interesting finish.

Sound : 8
This guitar is ment to be played on overdrive channel. I use it with marshall valvestate 102r amp and a korg ax 300g effects processor.
On clean it sounds a little muffed, on distotrtion it has quite dark sound. Maybe it has a lttle low high tones, but i manage that with korg.
I like this sound very much, no ibanet can concure this qiutar for the same price.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
I had to low the action, because it was pretty high and i rised up pickups a little. Pickups are doiung their job more than good, altough i am thinking of buying emg 81/85 for it.
Finish is quite interesting as i wrote before.
The hardware finish is not that good, after almost two years it is guite rusted (especially floyd).

Reliability/Durability : 10
I rely on this guitar 100%, i have a backup, but i used it only once in 20 live gigs, and even than because a string broke. I would use it withoud back up, but since i got one...why not:)
After almost 2 years tone and volume buttons started to make noise.
The finish looks like it will last for ever.
The strap buttons are ok, not the best i have ever seen, but ok.

Customer Support : 10
Warranty is one year, in have never use it.
I have never dealt with company.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for three years now, i also own roland cube 15, cort g200. If it got stolen i would buuy m400 (almost same model, with different pickups).
i compared it with ibanez rg 350, 320 and 270.
Tremolo is much better on this guitar, and i much prefer ldt necjk, tha ibanez, sound is also much better for me(darker).

Features : 7
2005 or 2006 - Indonesian Made.
Soloist style agathis body with flamed maple top (veneer i believe).
24 XJ fret Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, small abalone-like (plastic i believe?) inlays and square mother-of-pearl-like plastic "M-100FM" inlay on 12th fret.
Floyd Rose Licensed Bridge, generic ESP tuners, locking nut.
Master Volume + Master Tone + 3 way blade switch.
Pickups are ESP Lh-100 H-H set.

Mine is trans-black (they now are available in trans-red too).

From ESP i got : cardboard box + small set of wrenches (for locking nut and truss rod (and another one, that i don??t know what is for)) and a catalog.
From the store i bought the guitar : a gig-bag (generic, but good enough, i already have a flight case if i need to) and a flanel for cleaning the guitar + a set of new strings. Not a bad deal, considering the price.

Sound : 7
This guitar is meant for ROCK! (And heavier music styles). Which suits me perfect. I play in a heavy-rock cover band (think Motorhead meets Aerosmith) and this guitar fits the style like a glove. The 2 humbucker pickups have a nice output, better than expected from being stock generic pickups, and they can really shove a amp into overdrive zone. The bridge pickup is somewhat mid-scoop, but has a nice "oomph" in the low-mids zone, and a little annoying high (that works great for lead work, but can get annoying when playing open chords). The neck pickup sounds a little muffled to me, could use a tad bit more of high-mids. Both of them have a nice output and are quite well defined, which was a surprise for me.
With the band, i play with this signal chain : M-100FM - Phase90 - Ts9 - Input (Marshall JCM900 4001 Combo), sounds amazing, i can have a nice low and a high that cuts through.
At home, i play with the M-100Fm straight through a Korg Ampworks and into my computer, also sounds great, and here the mids shine through a lot better.
In both situations i was happy with the sounds i was getting with my M-100.
But only in more distorted situations. The cleans sounds are really muffled and usually, not clean enough (maybe the pickups a little bit too strong? it easily clips the signal on the Ampworks, it??s a little harder on my Marshall). But anyway, i have been tampering with the idea of changing the pickups, but i acutally like their sounds, so i??m still not sure. Maybe a Dimarzio on the Neck, for cleaner sounds.

For rock, heavy metal, and heavier stuff, this guitar has great sounds. And while you can play blues, jazz, and anything else with this guitar (i highly recommend rolling back the volume for ANY clean sounds), the looks and sounds won??t match the style so perfectly.

So this is pretty much it. Great metal sounds at an affordable price.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 7
I bought this guitar to be a back-up guitar, and i bought it in a store where i have a good treatment. So i got the guitar perfectly setup, 9 gauge strings, action close to 1mm on the 12th fret, intonation was perfect, and the bridge was completely stage. I just had to ajust the pickup heights. Not a big problem at all.

The frets are really big and well dressed, great job there, LTD. And i had no problem with it so far (more than 1 year of abuse). The neck plays REALLY well, and is quite thin and fast, such a great neck for this price is almost a steal. But it??s not, it??s there, thanks LTD.

The finish is good, the transblack looks almost green most of the times, but depending on the lights can go to a nice dark transpurple.
the veneer flamed maple top is beautiful, and the transparent finish on the back, let the grain of the agathis showing which is also nice.
The finish seems strong enough to take a few bangs here and there, but it??s REALLY Glossy nature makes it fingerprint heaven (hopefully grissom and the csi won??t need my guitar, but if they need, it??s fingerprint heaven) so i always have that flanel around (now i know why it was free) for cleaning it. But it??s a beautiful guitar, trust me.
The hardware finish is not so resistant, in the year i have, the top of the bridge (where i rest my hand) is starting to rust a little, just a little, and i know i sweat a lot, but i would want this finish to last longer than my previous guitar (which now is probably the only guitar in the world, to feature a GREEN bridge). But it seems it won??t last all that much.

Reliability/Durability : 8
Now, this is a delicate subject. Luckly not so delicate guitar.
I have mine for more than year, used live at least 10 times, and so far no problems. I rarely broke a string. And i have used it without any backup because my other guitar was at a shop for a pro-setup.
The hardware seems good enough to last, if you don??t bang your guitars around the stage, same with the finish.
Mine sure has seem a LOT of sweat, and some beer and blood too, and so far, all it need was a good cleaning.

The strap buttons are a bit small, so i replaced them with Schaller Strap Locks, just like my main guitar. But if you don??t jump around too much, and your strap hole is not too wide (avoid old straps), you should be safe, just don??t go Malmsteen like and swing it around your neck.

I would say this guitar is dependable.
And reliable. And hopefully it will stay that way for a long time.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with LTD, so no idea.
Never dealt with ESP either, so no idea.

The store i bought it was great to me, but i won??t judge that.

Overall Rating : 8
So, i have been playing for nearly 10 years. And gear was never something that i really cared about. As long as it sounds good and plays good, it??s good.
My setup is really simple (guitars -> Phase90 -> Ts9 -> Marshall JCM900 Combo/Korg Ampworks for silent practice) and i like to keep it that way.
I have 2 other guitars, a old japanese Ibanez RG (which i love) and a home-built gibson like flying V. I would say this guitar, which a new set of pickups and bridge, is as good as my old Ibanez. And this is saying something, so good job LTD people.

If it were stolen, i would probably replace it, with either another M-100 or a M-200 if i could afford it. I love the looks (especially the reverse headstock), the h-h config with floyd rose (i never use the single-coil in the ibanez). I??m not too keen on the original eletronics (pots, jack and switch) and will probably replace that.

When shopping i compared it to a brand new Ibanez Rg350, and i like this one more in almost all possible aspects.

I only wish this guitar had a coil-tap switch.

Okay, so i ranted a lot.
Now let me get this straight, this guitar is NOT a ESP. This is a LTD, and it will always be. It??s not in the same category of quality as a custom guitar from a major shop, but it also doesn??t cost NEAR as much. This is a amateur-pro level guitar, honest, with good sounds, and that can take a beating.
If you need a guitar to fullfill your tone dreams, this is probably NOT it, and i can say this for EVERY guitar in this price range. And if you only play small venues like me, this guitar is MORE than enough. Once i start playing stages, i will get a pro-level custom shop ESP.
This guitar is great, and i recommend everyone to pick one up and try out. And if you don??t like it, it??s not a problem. Maybe they just aren??t your thing.
Overall, i would give this guitar a 10, if compared only to it??s price range, and a 6 compared to top-notch guitars. So i will give it a 8.

It IS good enough for me, and probably is for you too.

Made in Indonsiea, Don't know the year, 24 smooth XJ Frets, A fast and thin neck, ESP LH-100 dual pickups (switched to EMG 81/60), Alder Body Rose Wood Frets, Floyd Rose Tremelo Bridge and Floyd Rose Lock Nut. I have changed the pickups cause that's all that needed fixed. The LH-100 are good don't get me wrong but of course EMG actives are better.

Sound : 10
I play in a all around metal band (think candiria meets as i lay dying) and i use this with EMG 81/60 set into a Marshall MG100DFX/MG412 halfstack and for my effects i use a Boss MT-2, MXR equalizer, and a Boss NS-2 and i can get the raddest metal sound out of i. My rig sounds pretty close to slayer. This guitar for the money is the best i've played. If you are a metalhead looking for a guitar to shred on get this and through some EMGs with a Boss MT-2 and my secret weapon the MXR EQ and you've got what your looking for

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
For the money you can't get a better guitar it stays in tune. I have had no problems and i've had it for about a year. pickups are awesome for stock pickups

Reliability/Durability : 8
I've been playing it live along time and it has'nt failed me yet. it did get a scratch on the body but it'll live. strap buttons are awesome no looks needed hear unless your going saosin. very dependable. been useing it to gig without a backup since i got it and i have'nt needed one yet it might be safe to get one unless this is your backup.

Customer Support : 10
Hav'nt had to deal with ESP yet.

Iv'e been playing it for about a year. I put some EMG's in it with a Marshall MG100DFX/MG412, boss MT-2, MXR EQ, Dunlop Crybaby, and a boss NS-2. before i got this i was going to get a ibanez RG good thing i did'nt. I love it, Why would'nt I it was free

Straight from the factory; I picked this up at Sam Ash. I was in the market for an electric guitar after playing my Ovation acoustic for about 10 years, I needed to expand my sounds. I'm not in a band (although I used to be in my teenage days) nor do I jam with anyone. I enjoy playing in my crib with a Zoom 606 pedal and a headset. That's it!

The features on this guitar are excellent. From the finish to the sound to the fret action, ESP did a nice job with it. Best part is the cost ($250). The finish is this smoky black that fits my style.

Sound : 9
In terms of sounds, this guitar provides all variations required for whatever music you play. Now, I must admit that the Z00M 606 is a pedal that makes 95% of this possible. Nonetheless, both guitar and pedal complement each other very well.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Action: Incredible! Going from acoustic to this guitar reinforces that practicing all those scales were worth it! from the 1st fret to the 24th, the action is smooth and consistent. Note to beginner guitarists: It's important to practice your scales but it's just as important to have a great action on the fretboard. This way you won't get discouraged. Just a thought.

Fit: a bit heavy. I play it sitting down (again, just a weekend warrior) but did notice when I pick it up, it can be quite the workout.

Finish: Immaculate! I bought it new although many people have played while it sat at the store. Clean finish with no rust anywhere.

Reliability/Durability : 9
So far, so good. Haven't played live with it although during a recent session with a friend, it performed fine. Clean the strings and body after each play, seems like the right combination!

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't really talked with the company, but I did pick up a 2-year service with Sam Ash for $35. Seemed like a good deal. They said it covers things like setup, adjustments, etc. For $35, it's worth it! One less thing i need to worry about.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing off and on for about 15 years. During this time, I've owned an Ibanez, Fender, ESP and Ovation (still own). Couple my axes with a Fender head and speakers with a multitude of footpedals, and you got a nice lil' system. I also own an Ensoniq SQ1-Plus keyboard (one of the best keyboards/sequencers around; if you can find one :-)).

I did compare my ESP with a Peavey guitar I had my eye on for sometime. Both had the action and feel but the ESP got me based on price (about $100 cheaper).

Bottom line: great guitar for the price with years of jamming just waiting to happen!

Made in Indonsiea not sure about year.
24 smooth XJ Frets.
Super Fast thin neck. and i mean thin.
LH-100 dual pickups
Alder Body Rose Wood Frets
Floyd Rose Tremelo Bridge and Floyd Rose Lock Nut
Came With guitar strings lol.

Sound : 9
Mine pretty much came out of the factory perfect. no adjusting needed. tho people need to quit bitching about the pickups. there really pretty nice especialy when using metal zone. ya of course EMG or Seymour duncans that cost 100 bux a piece are gunna sound better. Rate the pickups for what they are not what they could be.

Sound is..wow...im using a metal zone mt-2 running thru a Fender 130 Watt M-80 chrous. soooounnnndddsss rrrraawwwwr.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
Facotry setup is grrreat. nothing needs to be moved adjusted or fixed.
Not to sure how stable it is against banging and what not but as most guitars its gunna scratch reguardless. The flame top see thru black really isnt as great as it cold be. Paint job is near impossibl to see unless in front of ur face. could be a lil brighter.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
Hardware seems nice and solid. tuning knobs are smooth, but thats all i know. seems to be a good gig backup

late-model ESP M-100FM that gives me a new respect for the good, fine people of indonesia. they can build one hell of a good guitar for not all so very much money. 24 fret neck that starts near the two humbuckers, which aren't far from the licensed floyd rose trem bridge, and ends at a nice, pointy reverse headstock. nothing like a guitar you can stab people with if they get too close. :D

the body's nothing radical, kinda reminds me of my old squier (both in shape and weight... i suspect this thing's made of alder or something heavy like that) only in black. speaking of which, it's got a nice quilted black finish on it, but i swear, it takes on a dark purplish glow in the right light. interesting whammy bar, too. i don't know if i'd call it loaded with features, but hell, for $250 you're not gonna get much more than this.

Sound : 9
i play a little bit of everything, and so does this guitar. in the store, i tried it almost exclusively on a hartke B-900... yes, that's right, a bass amp... with a boss MT-2 distortion pedal. this experience made me conclude that ESP and hartke are simply meant to be together, strange as it sounds. the day i bought this thing, i tried it on a little fender champion 30, and its LH-100's, which really aren't all so very bad if you stop comparing them to EMG's, shined through the amp's fender-esque distortion. well, then i took it home and tried it through my own MT-2 and fender princeton 65, and... well, it sounds as good as can be expected, but i'm getting that hartke amp ASAP.

with the hartke, it sounds really nice... you can get most any clean tone you wanted by playing with the EQ on the amp, and with the addition of the MT-2, you can get everything from weezer to godsmack, if you try.

sitting around, the guitar makes a fair amount of noise. then again, if i ever find a guitar that doesn't sit around making a fair amount of noise when you leave it alone with a cranked MT-2 distortion pedal on, i'll be amazed, to say the least.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
considering i took it straight off the floor, and assuming they didn't mess with it too much, i think this guitar was set up great... i haven't found a single fret that buzzes, but the action is still really low, which i happen to like. i don't know what good, if any, playing with the pickup height will do, but they sound pretty damn nice where they are. the finish on this thing, save for the obligatory floor model fingerprints, looks really nice... everything fits nice and tight, and that interesting tendency to turn purplish in the light really adds to its looks...

Reliability/Durability : 9
well, it's only been two days since i bought it, but i've already played this thing about as hard as i'm ever going to, and it responded to it better than any guitar i've ever owned. it looks nice and solid, and judging from the weight of the thing, i could probably drop it off my roof, pick it up, and go play a show with it. on that note, i haven't had the chance to play this thing for anyone else yet, but when the time comes, i'm pretty confident it'll do fine... it had better, since i don't really have the money for a backup guitar...

Customer Support : No Opinion
no idea about any of that, i usually fix my guitars myself

Overall Rating : 10
i've been playing guitar for over 3 1/2 years, and have accumulated two squier stagemasters, an applause AE-28, an ibanez GSR-200 (hence the decision to get a bass amp), two fender amps (frontman 15 and princeton 65, sans DSP), a boss MT-2 "metal zone" pedal, and a dunlop crybaby wah-wah. compared to my other guitars, the M-100 is bigger, meaner, and... pointier. it's a nice medium between my two squiers; one was really muddy sounding, and the other one is fairly bright, but lacks punch. now, i have a guitar that hits as hard as my first squier with 3/4 the brightness of my other one. in the end, it all works out. i'm quite happy with the sound and overall feel of this guitar, but the floyd rose trem is a double-edged sword of sorts; it makes tuning easier, but it can get irritating, and it makes dropped tunings not worth the effort. i compared this guitar with some epiphones that retailed for $50 more, and it kept up with them nicely. the only real competition this guitar had was actually an MH-100QM, thanks to its stunning black cherry finish and string-through-body bridge. in the end, though, i didn't really want to pay $30 more for a guitar with less features and the same tone, so i opted for the M-100. if anyone stole my guitar, i'd be extremely upset... after i just spent $250 on the damn thing, i'd have to go and spend my next $250 getting another one instead of buying that new amp i need.

all in all, this thing is a great choice for a low-cost professional guitar. having learned to play on a guitar with a floyd rose trem, i think i'd recommend a cheaper model for a beginner (something with a fixed bridge to make tuning easier), but if you want a guitar that'll kick ass for a price that won't do the same to your bank account, this thing's perfect for you.

oh, and i don't care if it looks kind of purple in the right light. if anyone says anything, i can just stab them with the headstock. :p

Made in 2004 made in Indonesia, 24 Frets, Solid Top, Volume/ Tone knobs, 3 position switch.

It is a LEFTHANDED model that I have.

Neck is Maple, fretboard is mahogony

Came is a cheap guitar chord....don't need it.

Neck is fast and straight

Sound : 9
I play in my church praise band and it is perfect for that. If you are into thrash or EMO or Heavy Duty Metal, you might want to put some different pickups in it. For my needs, it is perfect

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
This guitar came out of the box almost flawless. I had to adjust the pickups, but nothing that a few turns of the screw driver didn't fix in about 30 secs.

The action is AWESOME. I have never felt an action better. I prefer low action and this guitar didn't fail, it is low....but not to low that it buzz's.

Reliability/Durability : 9
This guitar will withstand my needs on stage, seeing that it is at church....unless the little old lady decides to rush the stage......LOLOL. Just kidding.

The hardware is good. It has a licensed Floyd Rose on it. This is my first Floyd, my other 2 guitars use Kahler's. I am not much of a dive bomber these days, so, it might not see that much use.

I would never gig without a backup, not becaus I don't trust this guitar, it is because it isn't a smart thing to do if you break a string and have to wait to put a new one on.

In a perfect world and strings didn't break, I would GIG without a backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion
haven't had to deal with them yet.

Overall Rating : 10
I have been playing off and on for about 22 years and I am not as good as I should be in that amount of time.

If this guitar was lost or stolen, I would but another before the ink dried on the police report.

What I love about this is that it is a LEFTHANDED guitar and those are hard to find at a good price.

What I hate about it?. That I don't have 2 of them.

I compared them with Ibanez and Jackson and for the price, this was by far the best value.

This guitar is from 2000, I believe. Made in Korea. It has 24 frets, licensed Floyd Rose, two Duncan designed humbuckers, one tone and one volume control. Rosewood fretboard, maple neck and basswood body. Basically, these are the most remarkable features. Doesn't have any bells or whistles, but apart for individual tone and volume controls for each pickup, this is enough for me. I like things simple.

Sound : 6
I play mostly rock and metal stuff, from Satriani to Death and nearly everything in between. I used this guitar through a BOSS ME-30 into a crappy Samick and currently play it through a Laney TF-200.

When you play this guitar, you get the feeling the designers lost it somewhere along the road. This could have been a kickass guitar, but the sound and playability is killed by a lot of tiny details, that added up ruin it.

The clean sound is decent, if not really spetacular. With good amp settings and a bit of chorus and reverb, I can get a Marty Friedman type of sound in the "Scenes" era, only weaker, with the neck pickup. The middle position is also very usable. The bridge position is brittle , dull and plain obnoxious.

Distortion brings out the best and worst of these pickups.. the bridge is good for chugging figures and metal riffs, although it lacks a bit definition.. For soloing, the tone is great except the fact that both pickups seem nasal and.. I don't know the word.. imagine someone trying to sing with a cold... the tone is good, but lacks balls. Too bad.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 5
And this is the really let down on this guitar. Construction wise, this once seemingly perfect (for my taste) guitar gave me problem after problem. Let's see..

... the Floyd Rose: Besides the old wank-the-bar-and-send-e-string-to-Db (I play in standard) the piece of crap screws that press the tip of the string in the bridge corroded (considering I keep always this guitar in the case, rarely gig and CERT_AINLY do not moisture it) it was a nice surprise.. nothing like having to change your strings with a turquoise..

..The frets: Oh yeah, baby, fret buzz in 9, 10, 15 and 17th frets, nothing like it.. I have to choose between using 10 gauge strings and have 4 springs in the back that FAIL to correct the level of the bridge, or have 9gauge strings that allow the bridge to be leveled, at the price of having buzz on the frets I use most ( I bend on the 17th fret a lot).. bad, bad..

The finish: Don't look at it too hard, your might dent it.. the guitar looks great but the finish has no resistence whatsoever.. I can now testify that my guitar is made of real woold thanks to a bump with it on my desk.. but it's a guitar, not a battle mace, so I understand.. but I still think the finish is thin and weak

Oh, and I can't forget the tone controls that slipped and ripped the soldering, cutting the contact of the pickups.

However, it has it's good things... the neck is amazingly confortable.. I love it. It's a breeze to play, never played in one I liked better than this. Also, it's not really heavy, so it's cool to play it standing.

Reliability/Durability : No Opinion
I've gigged with this guitar about 5 or 6 times. It behaves well. I owned it for 3 years now and broke a string once. It's quite reliable. The Hardware looks fragile and really crappy, and it has rusted beyond recognition. I have seen guitars that stay all day on a stand that, after 10 years of abuse haven't rusted anything near this. I've already mentioned the finish, but didn't mention the cronic band contact in the input jack. Would I use it without backup on a gig? Yes, but I'd have to be carefull..

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them.

Overall Rating : 6
I've been playing for 5 years, in a completely amateur level. I take guitar lessons and play in a band with some friends. I know a lot of people who also play guitars and have had the chance to try quite a few guitars. I've played Fenders, Squiers, Washburns, BC. Rich, Samick, Godin, Ibanez, PRS.. and I've always considered my own guitar preferable, given it would give it's maximum.. the fretwork and pickups kinda ruin for me.

But hey, it's a beatiful guitar and if you don't mind avoiding bends in certain places, it plays very nicely. I wish it had better frets and nicer pickups (I'm considering this part). If I lost it, I would save up and get an M-II, same shit but good quality, or maybe do a radical change and get a Carvin DC-747..

My Esp LTD series M-100 was made in 2000 in Korea. It has 24 Jumbo Frets. It has one volume nob and one tone nob. It aslo has a pickup changer. The pickups are H/H AND THEY SUCK. The pickups have no feel to them and only deliver a very crunchy sound. I found them only good for distortion and were auful for anything not resembling heavy metal. The Body is made of alder with a bolt on maple neck. It has a pointy strat shape and has a floating floyd rose bridge which is hell to tune. It has standard ESP tuners and a 25.5 inch scale.

Sound : 6
I like metallica and stuff like that but i began to reaslise that it didnt do the skillz of Kirt or James any favours so i changed the pickups to some kck ass seymour duncan pickups (Custom trembucker(N) 59(B)). If you are planning to buy this guitar i would suggest putting in some very powerfull new seymour duncan, Dimarzio or even some nice EMG's to keep the style of guitar true to the esp sound.

When it came from the states the neck was warped and and the bridge wasnt set up. But, there were no technical flaws in the guitar.

I have been playing this guitar for about 2-3 years (live) and so far i havent had any serios problems with it. Although this is not my main guitar it is a fun guitar to rip out some hard 5hit on. My main guitar is an Ibanez JemDBK (The shiznat)

made in korea (2000), 24 frets, solid top, with volume and tone controls and a 3 way switch, H/H pickups. Maple neck and all finished in black. Shaped like a strat with a floyd rose came with a gig bag

Sound : 8
i like to do heavy metal/rock, and this is suited to that
i only use it with a small yamaha ga-10 amp. I find it has a bright sound but has a lot of variety, with distortion, its amazing. I only think if you choose both pickups on the selector switch, it'll sound good, because if you use them alone, they sound very bad

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
it was set up well, so were the pickups.
i didn't find any real flaws, but the selector switch is slightly deformed

Reliability/Durability : 8
I practise it about an hour or Two a day, it lasts and although i dont play live,it seems solid enough to withstand it. the finish seems alright but looks a bit weak and a knock against the wall will leave a mark. The strap is brilliant and the guitar is dependable, i'd use it without a backup.

i've had it for a few months, and have been playing for just over a year, i'd probably buy a fender floyd rose if it got stolen, but this one was the best in the shop(for its price) There were ibenazes, epiphones and jacksons to compare to, but this one was the best, and i wish the body had been finished better

its got a floyd rose thats pretty reliable once you get it blocked, a reverse headstock, dual humbuckers that are designed by s.d., 24 fret bolt on neck,1 vol. and 1 tone knob. overall its pretty much got everything i need.

Sound : 9
this is the best metal guitar for the money without question. its a screamin beast pretty good and warm clean too. i use it with a line 6 spider with NO FX and i still get a damn good tone out of it. its especially great for leads but im a rhythym guitarist and it suits my needs too.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
it seems like this stuff was all pretty good but i dont really remember it a whole lot. the only problem i had was once the strings staarted buzzing like crazy but i just adjusted the neck and it went away. the body-neck joint is molded and it makes access to the higher frets very easy and it feels like the joint isnt even there. its a very nice detail that a lot of other guitars dont have.

Reliability/Durability : 9
strong as hell, ive played it at least an hour a day for the past 9 months and its still as strong as the first day i bought it. the one thing that sucks about it is that the trem bar moves around a little in its socket.

Customer Support : No Opinion
i do the work myself so no opinion here.

ive been playing for about a year and a half and i'd recommend it as a step up from your first guitar or if you need a cheap workhorse. i also own a jackson js30 and i paid the same for that and this guitar smokes the jackson. I would definitely buy this guitar again and i use it as my main guitar. it has great, strong pickups and i love the floyd. make sure you get the floyd blocked as soon as you get it though otherwise it takes away the whole point of having it.

Excellent Korea made guitar, with the most beautyful revers headstock.
A pair of powerful humbuckers, licensed Floyd, 24 frets and rosewood fingerboard. Gunmetal blue paint.
I just love the shape and look of my guitar.
The olnly thing I miss are another volume knob

Sound : 7
The pickups are copys of Duncan, so they sounded pretty good, but I installed a Emg 81 and 60, because i wanted that 'tallica sound, and I got it. EMG pickups are the only pickups for heavy stuff.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
The strings were a bit high, por my preference, but thanks to that great duble acttion rod, it was easy to adjust.
Very confortables frets and niceknobs....Top stuff

Reliability/Durability : 10
Everything is perfectly made, top quality woods, excellent paint and the best black finish on the hardware I've seen on any guitar. The floyd is very solid, and the pickups too.

I've bought and sell about 50 guitars in the pasts years, and quite frankly, this guitar has the best price-quality relation on the market. Buy it.... Ltd guitars are great...?.

Anybody looking for a "new" LTD ESP, who hasn't actually seen or played one is in for a big suprise. I walked into my local guitar store and see about 10 hanging on the wall. I See the "LTD" on the headstock and think "cheap and crappy". As I get closer, I see the ESP logo on the truss rod cover and think great, a cheesy knockoff of ESP's that sort of the Gibson to Epi discrimination thing. I check the prices and see they are in the $400.00 to $700.00 range and think great, $250.00 guitars from korea that they have bought out the ESP name or been licensed or something that they charge you twice as much for cuz they say ESP. Then I picked one up.

The fit and finish, not bad at all. Hardware, seems nice, details, all in place. I plug one in and start to play. The pickups were a littel weak, but the tone was sweet. I figure, what's the harm. I play a les paul copy, an explorer style, a flying v, and s.g. and what appears to be your basic strat style.

Every last one of them was built nice, set up right, and sounded and played with ease. Nice low action. What really got me was the tone out of the Flying V, the Explorer Style and the S.G. The less paul sounded very less pauly (set neck) very heavy, long sustain.

I ended up buying a beautiful H 201 flamed maple top, fixed bridge model. While it could use a set of seymour duncans, the stock pickups will be more than enough for some.

I have played Ibanez, Fender, Gibsons, Epiphones, Godin's, you name it in this price range that you only hoped once you plugged them in that they a. sounded good, and b. played well.

If I had the money, I would have bought one of each I played today.

The guitar for the money quotient is filled by these babies.

Seriously consider and go play a new ESP if you are in the $400.00 to $500.00 range. You might be supised.

I have never in my life been able to walk into a store and find three, four, five guitars in one sitting that I would buy. You know how it is, they look good but the tone sucks, or they sound good but are a pain to play, or the color aint right or the price is way to much.

What impressed me the most was the consistency across the board from one model to the next.

GREAT SOUND!!!!!!!!!!! For me that is, i play almost anything from lynyrd skynyrd to Metallica (i tend to lean more on the metallica side though) And It Sounds Great with my setup, Fender London Reverb to Zoom 505 to crybaby wah to DOD stero Delay to DOD Parametric Eq to nady wireless 1001 then to my guitar. All though i wish i had a Marshal mg 100 rcd head. It has a nice rich creamy sound or basicly any sound you want if you know how to get it. Like i said this guitar can make any sound you want.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
the action is great, the pickups were adjusted proprely. Everything was on nice and tight except the in put nut but i had that fixed in a jif.

Reliability/Durability : 9
Although i havent played live i know it would withstand. The finish is nice and solid. I did change the strap buttons to dunlop strar lock but before i did that they worked fine my guitar never once sliped. I Problay wouldent play a gig without it because it really sucks if you break a string in the middle of a song.

Customer Support : No Opinion
i havent dealt with them yet, but a lifetime warrnty is good enough for me.
