Sounds amazing! the VVSC pups have a great range from sounding fat to thin. Playing through a Marschall JTM30 Valve amp. Probably one of the best sopunding pickups I've heard. I have had RICS, Gibson LPs, Fender teles and along with my Jazzmaster this guitar really hits the spot - but without any bridge hassles and buzzes.
I play a lot of alternative stuff, but also rock, indie etc. I use EHX clones, stones and memory men. Muffs, DS2 and Dr scientist effects. the 59 Customs tone really sings through my pedals - sounds dirty one minute but super clean and tight the next. A compressor on this would really blow me away... that's why i have sent for one! :)

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Set up great, I didn't have to adjust anything at all.
Finished really well. Electrics perfect.

I think the custom additions were added in Eastwood's Canadian cutom shop... saying that i think it would have been a really nice touch to have a Custom 59 stamp somewhere; on the truss rod cover maybe, to seperate it from the standard model ..but just nit picking here.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Built to last - can't see why I won't have this when I'm old and grey. Although i'd probably dye my hair to keep that edge!

Customer Support : No Opinion
Excellent! Mike at Eastwood was very helpful and answered allo my questions.
Warranty is three year limited.
Delivery to UK super fast!

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for 20 plus years and this guitar has really surprised me. I usually go for USA made guitars for quality etc but was getting bored of the same old models being re-vamped over and over, so I went for something different. I like the White Stripes but it was more the style of the guitar that got me onto it. I'm so glad i did!

Dare to be different, because this guitar is amazing!
