THIS is a follow up review. Mine is the previous review when I first got the guitar. I've now had the guitar for a few months and thought I'd submit a second review.

Sound : 6
I realized after a live show that the pickups basically were weak, VERY noisy, etc. I replaced them with Lace Sensors Blue, Silver, and Red......Looks awesome in the all white guitar. NOW it ROCKS...

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
I have adjusted the actions, had the frets leveled and polished...amazing how good it came out. The intonation from the factory wasn't even close.....but corrected it's right on.

Finish and hardware are right on.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I imagine this guitar will stand up to the worst situation with the rest of them. My last review I was unsure if it would replace my strats/teles/335's.....well, YES, It is now my main guitar....and thinking about a second. With a little "personal" attention, you can make this guitar yours.....

I haven't had to deal with the company so other than buying it initailly. I have heard they are very good. Still have no warranty info, but I have modified it so it's void anyway, but with a good guitar tech like I have, who needs a warranty?

Overall Rating : 10
Been playing 30+ years. Owned multitudes of guitars. REALLY LIKE this one....

I purchased the white, Eastwood Phantom. It arrived in great shape and actually was set up fairly well from the factory. I read a review that said it wouldn't sit in a guitar stand, but found it does quite nicely. The finish is excellent, hardware is quite acceptable for a guitar in this price range. Pickups are OK depending on your style. The top strap button is attached to one of the neck plate screws ???? The guitar felt awkward with it there so I moved it to the back of the neck joint where you would expect it to be and found it way more natural to play. The screw on the neck plate just simply screwed all the way in thus adding the correct amount of stability for the neck.

The pickups are OK although I will probably change them to something a little more beefier and ad a humbucker to the back position. The back/lead pickup is rather weak and thin sounding, however the other two are quite usable and sound nice. The push/pull switch adds a really nice dimension to each pickup. I use Music Man HD 130 w/4-12 cab and an Ibanez Tube Screamer. The guitar out of the box sounds good enough to take onto any stage.

Action was good, but re-adjusted for my liking. Pickups were too low and I moved them up. I have never played a real VOX Phantom so I don't have that to compare it to. I usually play older, custom guitars and/or vintage and shy away from new guitars. This caught my eye, and for the price, was worth a shot. Will I use it? You BET!!! Will it replace one of my custom strats or teles? Time will tell......

Reliability/Durability : 8
Yes, I would use it on a gig right out of the box without a back up. It seems to be a good guitar for the money and if you want something no one else has, then this is it.

Seller answered my questions via email rather promptly with as few words as possible. Unknown warranty information. Guitar was shipped immediately and arrived 3 days later, Canada to Florida, although the post office left is sitting right in front of my front door and you couldn't miss this guitar shaped box sitting there for all to see...(Post Office error, NOT seller)....Sheez...Surprised it wasn't stolen...guess I'm just lucky....I know in the old days we used to "sign" for packages.

I have been playing 30 plus years. I have owned dozens and dozens of guitars over the years. I usually play strats/teles/335's and have a collection of over 50 instruments. Would I replace it if it were stolen...sure !!!
