Oh man, after I and few Bros' read the reviews on here... we realize that Ed and his Cult of Idiot Savants, wrote one of the reviews under this guitar listing. How Pathetic! Anyone that has to come up on this site to fudge the numbers and trying to deluth the truth instead of selling quality guitars, shows you exactly what his organization is about! Pure SCAM... Pure SCUM!!!

Ed made my guitar for someone else; some dude who skipped out after paying some money down. He had it hanging around for a little while. I saw it on the website and inquired. It's a left-handed korina body with a 22 fret strat neck. Dimarzio picups; Fender style electronics layout. Korina body is gloss finished with many clear coats; looks awesome. Bridge is a custom-cast PRS, cast a little thicker than the ones they use stock. Non-locking tuners. Neck has wide radius, but I can deal. No case included.

I read the other two reviews and was shocked! I talked to some people who have dealt with Ed a long time. Yeah, he can be grumpy, but he's loaded down with a ton of work from what I understand. My guitar sounds H-U-G-E with any pickup. Humbucker in the bridge position; a single in the middle and the neck. I can make it sound like anything. I play through a Digitech GSP 2112 Artist going into a Fender Hot Rod DeVille 2X12. I got no complaints.

No complaints. Everything was perfect, except I changed the strings over to .011's.

I don't gig, so I can't speak to that, but it seems built like a Sherman Tank.

As I said before, Ed can get grumpy, but he didn't screw me, so I have nothing bad to say.

Someday soon, I'll be looking to get a Les Paul style, set up, and I'll go back to Ed in a New York minute.

Really beautiful guitar, the wood's grain really shines through. Standard Strat setup, S/S/S pickup configuration, passive electronics, Body wood is Koa, maple neck w/ebony fingerboard, some "1500 G" neck configuration (more of Ed's dumbass bragging), vintage trem, 3 Seymour Duncan 59 pickups. All style, no substance

I play mainly blues/rock/jazz. I use it with a MKII marshall 100 watt plexi w/4x12 cab. This thing sucks. If it weren't for the pickups, i'd give this a 1. The sound is waay too bright. I returned the guitar and bought the pickups instead.

It was perfectly setup, the finish was immaculate, the pickups were great and everything was good, except the tone.

Really, ed's not that friendly. He degrades all other guitars except the ones he "makes" and sells. He acts like Malmsteen, like he invented the guitar.

The guitar was made in 2000 in Ed's shop in Danbury Conn. It is a 22 fret custom Strat. It was made of flamed Koa with a ebony fret board. It has a basic 3 pick up S/S/S/ 1 tone 1 volume. It is a hardtail.

I bought this guitar because I wanted something a little different and I loved the look of Natural Koa. I am using it through a custom Tony Bruno Amp. The guitar is VERY bright. too bright. I am on the look for darker sounding pups as we speak.

The oringinal set up was cool but after about 1 week the 2 fret came loose and had to be reglued. I had the same problem on the 17th fret. The nut had to be reglued as well. Ed was not happy, and after the 3rd time I came back he was getting downright rude.

The guitar woods are beautiful and seem very solid but the hardware and electronics have been very poor. I belive the pups are Dimarzio's and they sound awful with this guitar. I am thinking about swaping them for a set of Fender Texas Specials.

Awful. Ed is only happy when taking your check. He promised me the world and when I came back, 1,2,3, times he got ruder and ruder. I not see that I am on my own with the guitar from here on and I will try to make the best of it (at my own additional cost). But I do belive the guitar has alot of potenial.

I have been playing 17 yrs. I own several other strats and Teles and wanted something different. I am now very sorry I didn't go to Pensa Surr guitars or Tom Anderson. I would never do bussness with Ed Roman again. The guitar is beatiful but in it's present Condition is all show and no go. The neck shape and feel(natural Koa) is fantasic but the frets were horroribly dressed and the electronics were a horrible choice for this guitar. The case smelled like a dead animal was kept in it and Ed Roman is a Jerk off. I an not giving it a 1 because it is not a complete Hunk of Junk, it just needs some TLC, something Ed didn't want to give after he got my money.
