I purchased this guitar from Ed Roman in 2000. The guitar was a hodge-podge of mix and match Steinberger parts. Everything except for the EMG pick-up's were a great disappointment.

The EMG's were (ofcourse) very clean and quiet, however, the guitar offered no tone what so ever.

The frets on the neck were not filed properly, if they were even filed at all. Steinberger trem was junk and didn't even seat into the cavity properly. Poor craftsmanship!!!

This boat oar was not fit for playing out in a live situation.

I contacted Ed Roman and discussed my dissatisfaction with his product and his attitude was basically, "Too bad sucker! You bought it, its your problem!" He went on for an eternity about how awesome he was at his business and how he was such good friends with George Lynch. I couldn't get a word in while he was wasting his breath.

I will never purchase another instrument from this individual ever again. I believe I will continue my business with the "Guitar Mega-Malls". According to other reviews, I'm not the only person who feels this way about these guitars.

EdRoman World class guitar, which is located in C.T.. I custom order made this solid Mahogany body Steinberger copy L series guitar, with LSR Neck (ED ROMAN SHOP MADE NEW NECK, which is SUCK!!!) and steinberger hardware.It is 24 frets, one volume, one tone, with a small 3-way selector, one EMG SA and EMG 81, red finish.

It sound like a pic of shit. Even it use a EMG picks up, o my goodness!!! Uaually i play hard rock. With my sanamp, boss d-lay, RP7, etc. And with a Roland AMP. i CAN'T believe its sound so noisy and thin. i think this custom made guitar is suck. I just paid more than $2000 to this fucking company!! Dame it.

The LSR neck(which Ed Roman said it is better than the Steinberger neck), it is really suck. I think the Steinberger neck is way better. The LSR neck feels and looks like a cheap toy. And the setting of this custom guitar got fuck up so badly. Can believe i had spended more than $2000 for this pic of fucking shit. ....OUCH@!!!!!!!

It is a good guitar when you are withstand live playing. That is all!!! Its sound suck, looks like a cheap toy and feels like shit!!
The Steinberger hardware is cool, because it is made by Steinberger, NOT ED ROMAN. I will not use this guitar's, even a $79.90 guitars sounds better!!! Also the frets on the fucking LSR Neck is very loose, the frets on the 23 and 24 had came out already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will NEVER buy any guitar in Ed Roman World class guitar. Ed Roman is kind when you paid him the money. Afterthat....shit....everythings got fuck up by this company!...Just don't waste your money to custom order made any guitar from ED ROMAN. Trust me/...spend more than $2000 and spend time to call him and wait him to pick up the phone and then pay what ever he said. THEN....HE WILL SEND YOU A BIG PIC OF FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO YOU THINK THIS IS A WORLD CLASS GUITAR???????????
