I am writing a review on Eden Tele Alder body in flame red color. It is alder body. Worth mentioning here is that wood originates fro US. There is no wood with such quality in Asia (not to my knowledge). I am talking about wood density and ultimately sound quality produced thereafter. The body is typical Tele body with front routing and string thru body design. The body is designed and made after an old vintage tele specs. Very faithful replica I would say. Control cavity. All the routing is done very nicely and precisely. The neck pock will fit the usual Fender dimensioned neck with no problem. The neck pocket is done very nicely, it is flat and typical neck would fit nice and tight in it. No additional routing in order to fit neck is required.

Paired with nice tele maple neck this is a true vintage sounding tele. To me it is closer to the vintage Tele than most of the new Fenders including the ???historic??? stuff they are producing, since it is all made in order to make it the cheapest as possible. In return it is being sold as a very pricey instrument. Because of this I have decided to start making my own stuff. Sourced different manufacturers and Eden was the cheapest. Thought I will try it and see what happens. I might waste few hundred buck. Made two telecaster. He same body (red and white alder body) and maple and maple/rosewood neck. Not the guitars are finished I can tell you that I have two Telecasters that can stand their ground against American made Tele. I have on Tele with GFS tele pickups and on with the tele Emg pickups. These are fantastic telecaster guitars. The sound is very nice with lots of midrange bite, clarity and a very nice sustain. There is not a hint of harshness found in many new Fender Telecaster guitars. I don???t hate Fender, I fact I am a Fender type player and I got fed up with expensive stuff of mediocre quality coming from my favorite manufacturer. In contrast these bodies are made the way I see an old Fender tele body.

Having purchased three of these bodies; I can tell that the finish is perfect. They migt have a great consistency or great quality control, anyhow all of the bodies were perfect out of box.

I have dealt with people in Hong Kong and they are very nice. I wouldn???t say that their representatives do know lot about the stuff they sell but they were always nice to me. I am talking about their sale reps, I doubt very they had anything with making these bodies and just because of lack of knowledge I will rate it as an 8, but again these people were always very nice to me and very helpful.

I have to admit I am impressed. It was very shaky when I started talking to these guys, they sounded like complete amateurs. I had a chance to go to their warehouse and talk to a very nice guy. He actually let me browse around and I tapped on many of these and had seen many of their products. I purchased several bodies and necks and put several strats and teles together. Took me couple months to finish them and now I have several wonderful instruments. Do not listen to the snobby people who by stuff on a face or sticker value. Rather listen to the instrument before you by it. You will save lots of money and years searching for that sound in your head. I have to say that I am not affiliated I any way with Eden. I was very pleasantly surprised with their products and want you guys to have the same joy I had putting together my own guitars. These Eden bodies are fantastic value and money and sound ratio is hard to beat. You can spend several hundred bucks for a body that is basically the same thing with some marketing skills and fancy web-site (sorry Warmoth). If you can get over the ???Logo??? issue and focus on the sound of your instrument than check this guys out. They got their act together.
