Features : 9
Satin Nevada Brown which really brings out the wood grain, Explorer, Tune-O-Matic with stop tailpiece, Gotoh tuners, 24.75" scale, medium frets, gig bag, made in Japan 2006, 22 frets, solid top, 1 volume 1 tone, 2 humbuckers - both EMG 81, body & set neck both mahogany, beautiful guitar.

Sound : 10
Sounds like well oiled machine, it's got power to spare for Heavy Metal and Rock and a nice clean sound to boot. I use a Peavey Bandit 220 with multitude of pedals and effects and they got perfectly. I did switch out the neck pickup EMG 81 for a EMG 60 but that's just my preference. I done everything soundwise rock to blues to classical it hits the mark.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
I need to do some adjusting myself but other than that it was great out of the box. I needed to adjust the pickup because they are just to powerful to be that close to the strings. I also had to raise the string action a little the strings were to low for my tastes. The one thing I'm the most ticked off about the guitar is that the toggle switch was busted and I needed to get a new one and because I bought it from a dealer in Japan good luck on having anyone fix or send me a new one.

Reliability/Durability : 10
Playable is it's middle name, outstanding! I feels very durable and reliable. I did switch out the strap buttons for some locking ones but again that's just me.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Came from Japan nuff said.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for...close to 20 years. I have a Fender Strat and a Gibson Les Paul studio and 4 other guitars. Can't think of anything I'd ask about the guitar and if it were stolen I'd be heartbroken because it plays so nice. I can't compare it to my other guitars just because they are all good in their own way. I can compare it to the LTD exp200 that I had which had a thicker neck and wasn't as balance as this one is. I do wish it had a gloss finish but it's not the end of the world not having it.
