Standard Features for a Les Paul clone. Seymour Duncan P90 does the job very well.

This guitar sound very good. Very resonnant. Sounds like a chambered body and does not feels like a LP custom to me. Can be compared to 3-4K Gibson Les paul.

Action is spotless. Finish is incredable... A lot better than many Gibson I've seen. A couple of issue... 1- The nut is badly cut. I can hear "ting" when tuning the wound string. 2- The pickups cannot go as high as I want them to (Short String maybe???) Nothing I can't handle or repaired.

59' style neck (Mix of 50's and 60's style neck. Not too thick or thin.)
Nice weight. Heavy, but not unbearable.
Came with ESP gig bag and Truss rod tool.
It's exactly as Les Paul should be so it gets a 10 for being just about spot on... With the exception of the name on the headstock and inlay, but this doesn't bother me.

I play a large variety of music. Mainly Blues, Jazz, Rockabilly, Country and anything that takes my interest. I usually play finger style using a thumbpick (Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Scotty Anderson ect.). For certain styles I use a flat pick though.
This guitar can suit all of these styles well and has great sustain. The P90's are very versatile. Very thick and rich sounding but with that great single coil sparkle. They clean up great but can get really dirty and sound great when played through a driven tube amp. I usually use a Fender Blues Junior with BillM mods or a JTM45 Ceriatone clone, sometimes I use a Bad Monkey OD pedal as well.
I love the sound of this guitar although it's pickups are quite hot and sometimes it's a bit tricky to get them as clean as you'd like.
Basically this guitar sounds like a Les Paul should... And It's got P90's so I think it's almost perfect (I'm a single coil man). If you want to get an idea of how it sounds listen some Les Paul recordings. He uses P90's with his LP's.

I was floored by this guitar when I first got it. Everything about it was as good as it gets. Fret work, inlays, binding, hardware installations. The nut was shaped, cut and installed flawlessly. The finish was also done very well. No paint strayed over onto the binding or anything like that.
The guitar played like a dream out the box. I think it came with 10-46's. Really good action, just the right amount of relief. Fast runs up and down the neck are effortless on this thing. The neck is one of the most comfortable necks I've played on. I'm a big fan of a Fender V shaped neck and was originlly thinking of buying another 52' reissue Tele but thought I'd try something different and it payed off.
I couldn't be happier with the way it plays.

Built like a tank. It'll probably out last me, and I'm not that old. I've still got a good 60 years + and I'm sure it's got just as long... Hopefully.
The finish should holdup well. The gold plating will wear off the hardware eventually, but hasn't started yet. The hardware it's self is great and shouldn't have any problems.
I have a slight concern with the strap buttons. They seem quite small and I'm not sure how easily the strap could come out. It hasn't yet though so they seem fine.
Would I use it at a gig without a backup? Certainly. Usually I prefer a backup though due to Murphy's law. Unfortunately I learned this the hard way. If a backup was not available though I'd have no worries using this guitar. I'd still make sure I had new or relatively new strings on.
Bottom line is I doubt it will ever let me down, although time will tell.

I love this guitar. I was recently in a guitar shop and tried a high end, big name guitar similar to my Edwards at 4 times the price and was bored stupid with it. It was lifeless and just didn't feel right, in my humble opinion though. I'm much happier with my Edwards and I'm proud to have the name on the headstock. I get up early to play my Japanese guitars as they are such a joy to play. Originally I was skeptical but I took a chance and it payed off.
If this guitar was lost of stolen I think I'd always be missing it. I'm not sure if it could be replaced.
I love it's sound and the way it plays so much I can't put it down. I don't hate anything about it. I think the strap buttons are a bit on the small side, hasn't given me any grief though so I'm no going to touch it.
What really hooked me was the P90's. Originally I was looking at a E-LP-92SD/P (56' Gold Top) but wasn't excited about the colour. Then I looked at the E-LP-98LTS and thought that was the one for me. Unfortunately it had humbuckers and I'm not a great fan of this but was going to give it a try providing I could get the colour I wanted (brown... It looks kind of orangey brown). I was then informed the colour had been discontinued so I started looking again and stumbled upon the E-LP-92CD/P and that was the one for me.
I urge anyone interested in buying a LP to look at Edwards. It's been the best money I've spent on a guitar so far... With the exception of another MIJ guitar I bought which was a second hand bargain. If you care what it says on the headstock then you may not ever be happy with this as you'll always be wanting the other. If you want an amazing playing & sounding guitar at a great price then look no further.
