This is a 2007 Edwards E-LP92 les Paul copy. Mohagony set neck. Mohgany body with flamed maple top. Binding on top like a LP standard. Comes standard with seymour duncan chrome pickups. 1 JB and 1 SHN. 2 tones 2 volumes. Long tenon. NICE :)

I couldn't beleive it. I have been a Gibson fan for years. I have been playing since 1978. Por Gibson all the way. I had a really hard time wanting to buy this guitar. But with the prices of gibson guitars. They make you have to look at other manufaturers. I took a chance and WOW. I had 2 Les Pauls last year. Unless you set one of these up and play them side by side. Only then you will understand what I am about to say. Tone. The same. Sustain. Way better. WAAAAAAAY better. I had to set the action up a little. But Tone. I don't know what to say. I am a boutique guy when it comes to pickups ETC. This has a JB in the bridge and a SHN in the neck. I have a set of Rio grandes pickups with cts pots and all new hardware for this guitar. But even as it sits stock. I would put this up against a LP standard any day. I think in 90% of all the hands and ears that play and here it. It would be an easy win. Except for those faithfull Gibson guys. Remeber I was won of you. Not so sure any more. The one I got. I am very impressed with the wood grain of the Mohogany. Neck and body. I could go on here. But these are really nicly made. I don't care who makes them. They are awsom!!!!!

As far as the action goes. I had to set it up when I got it. But the frets were nicly done. The finish. I looked very hard and can not find a flaw. Now for those Laquer fans. I have to tell you. I paint guitars. I do not hear any difference between laquer and eurathane. If it's done right. Plus eurathane doesn't turn yellow. I always hated that about my les pauls. But some of these are done in nitro. As far as playbility goes. All I can say is awsom. Made By ESP. I remember when les pauls were about $500 to a $1000. But when Les died. I think gibson decided to jack the prices. I always thought that sucked. Think of it. For the amount of guitars you could sell at a cheaper price versus the less you sell at a jacked up price doesn't make sense. You would think they would want gibsons in the hands of as many players as possable. I mean. I understand you have to meet our economy. But when their quality drops off like it has for the lasy 10 years and the prices get jacked??? By the way. It's not my opinion about the quality. Thats all I've heard from all the techs around San Diego. So I have to say. Try this. If you want a guitar the way they use to be built. Try this. You will not be disappointed.

Reliability/Durability : 10
I think I've said it all above!!!
