Sounds great! Warm and sweet but still with a little bit of twang or bite on top! Play it through Marshall JTM 60 with drive and boost pedal. Perfect for old school rock. No Metal guitar, but that's no loss to me...
Action, Fit, & Finish

Perfect low action, Would've wanted the possibillity to raise the pick-ups a little, but they're already as hihg as they get. The finish is very nice.

This is the best guitar I've bought considering the price! I definetly will consider other Edwards models in the future.

Solid 1 piece maple top. 1 piece mahogany back. 1 piece mahogany neck .Limited edition model. Standard Les Paul Set up. Seymour Duncan P90`s. Gotoh hardware historically correct saddle, bridge angles etc.,gotoh tuners. Beautifull Goldtop finish.9 because of the Gibson VOS style appointments.IE Long tenon neck joint. Chunky C shaped neck.

I play Blues, Jazz ,Rock. I did what I do to all guitars. RS wiring kit and Wolfetone pickups.Stock it sounds good and many might leave stock and be perfectly happy. With the CTS pots caps and boutique pups the sound is heaven.I play into Riveras,Victorias and a BFDR,. For pedals only a voodoo lab Sparkle drive.Often Guitar ,cord,amp.All who have played it agree you`re in the Gibson VOS league.

I do all my own set ups. The quality of finish is extremely high. Beautifully finished frets and nut. After the long trip from Japan some neck relief,a tweek and presto.One VERY playable guitar. Much better than my 01 Gibson Standard.As above Long tenon no weight relief in the Limited edition models 8.5 lbs.couldn`t find any finish flaws.

Been playing over 45 years and have seen my share of Lesters.The Edwards is the best I`ve played. Gibson VOS guitar at a great price.IMHO Edwards is building better Gibsons than Gibson. Because Japanese law does not recognize U.S.patents they are able to build exact copies of vintage Gibsons although companies cannot import them, individuals can. Quality woods and much better workmanship.How much do I like the Edwards? I sold my Gibson LP and ordered another Edwards , this one with Humbucklers. Price includes shipping and HSC.
