This Guitar is a 1975/76 model Les Paul type guitar with dual magnafulx humbuckers (one covered - neck and one open coil - bridge). It has a rock maple neck, ash body and gibson lawsuit headstock with a sweet MOP Electra inlay. This isn't like any other Electra due to the finish and appointments (Creme translucent finish with matching headstock and black dot inlay on the neck). You can see the grain of the wood used (ash I think) through the finish but not exactly like a stain (only when the light catches it right). High gloss and really cool! 22 Jumbo Frets, white pickguard and truss rod cover... Translucuent white knobs (LP set up)...

Sound : 10
This guitar has a VERY Gibson sound to it but the open coil magaflux lets it rip a little harder if you know what I mean... Very expressive tone for rhythm and great susssssstain for lead. Action is perfect. Sounds freakin' awesome.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 9
Great, excellent and 97%... Couple of small chips in the finish of the body that have been touched up... Hardly noticable.

Reliability/Durability : 10
This guitar has been put away for a while so it's dyin to play out. I just bought it and I've been playing it since this afternoon (now 1:10 am). 30 years later, this sweet sweet axe is finally going to see some action. I'm as happy as it is.

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 10
I've been playing for about 20 years and I've bought/sold/traded vintage guitars for the past three years. Out of the 50 or so guitars I've seen come and go, this one stays. I'd say it's in the top 3 guitars I own as far as playability, looks and what not. Played through a Fender Twin is the sweetest. This guitar is going to look and sound great on stage.
