It is a reliabile guitar....
The finish is strong, I do have a few scratches and a dent...guitar's strap fell off once and before I could grab it, it bounced off the floor and split open on the mail seam. I took it and had it professionally repaired.....the sound remained as good as before.

I have had this guitar since the early 90's, it was my first guitar....I took lessons with it and ended up playing outside gigs. We now play in a local Legion every week.
We have some excellent players, two lead plug ins, a bass player and up to 8 other acoustics.
This guitar has made a ton of new friends for me....I have never regreted purchasing it once. Great dreadnaught guitar, with very good sound. Some of the old time pros in our group have played my guitar, they always say it has such great sound.

Recently inherited this guitar. Can't find any info on it. 20 fret board, 14 frets to the body, no electronics, and black with cream trim. Typical dreadnaught size and feel. Has a handmade inlaid strip down the length of the back of the body similar to that found on a martin.

Seems to be a durable instrument, perhaps more suited for parties and campfires than to Carnagie Hall...

I've been playing for 14 years now. I currently play a Martin D-28, a Gibson Les Paul Special, and this emperador. It's not a bad instrument, and I would rate it in the same category as a Yamaha guitar in the $300-400 dollar range.
