It sounds quite cool, the pickups are a bit crappy, but i've only played this through a small shitty practise amp.

The knobs keeps falling of (ooohhhhhhhhhh), the pickups move about a bit, it also doesn't look that well painted.

I wouldn't use it at a gig, the strap buttons i don't use,i wouldn't depend on it not flunking out during a concert.

What can I say..Encore the beginners friend. I got this for #99 a couple of years back and although I upgraded to a Strat a few months later, I still love this beast.
Heavy-ish indian ash body (re-shaped strat outline)...Standard strat controls and some over-sized pickups,,21 fret maple neck with rosewood board. Very flat radius almost a shreddy neck. Vintage bridge

The pickups are very noisy and buzzy...but if you turn the neck tone all the way down and crank it through a cheap practice amp, I managed to get a really cool fuzz face type sound...Clean they have a really cheeky tone which is a bit sharp.

Pretty good (until I played about with it!)....The pickup selector is very cheap and the knob keeps falling off.

It's a great little guitar and I always carry it as a spare

Encores are great...In the same way Danelectros are...Although the pickups are too big (which means you can just drop new pickups in), the shitty tones they make are great for a whole host of retro-ish styles. I've jacked the action on mine and play slide with the guitar tuned to DADGAD through a flanger
