Features : 8
Guitar Spec:-

Neck - Maple, bolt on.
Fingerboard - (22 Frets) Rosewood.
Scale - 630mm.
Machines - Chrome.
Bridge - Tune-o-Matic.
Pickup - 2 Guitar Tech Double Coil (By Trevor Wilkinson)
Controls - 2*volume, 2*tone, 3 way pickup selector.

The guitar looks quite good for a cheap model, the rest of the pack (amp, strap, bag, tuner, strings and plecs) is a bit of a disappointment though however for ??129 you can't really complain, even as a beginner I need a new amp already :o)

Sound : 8
On the Blaster amp it sounds passable, good enough to learn on. Tried it on my friends Vox amp and it actually sounds quite good, although his Vintage V100 sounds better it isn't a huge difference.

I have a varied taste in music but as a learner I am mainly playing Oasis at the moment as those are the songbooks I bought, it plays these ok. I think this guitar would probably be best suited to a bluesy/rocky style.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
I got the pack from a company that does a 12 point check prior to dispatch, they sort out any problems so everything is perfect on it and they apply fast fret and polish free of charge.

I know if you buy this package from somewhere like Argos you will have problems but if the company or shop you get it from sorts these things out then you will have no bother.

Reliability/Durability : 9
I don't think this guitar would be good to do a full on live gig but it would probably be a decent backup. Everything seems well put together on it so providing you don't give it a serious bump and take care of it, it'll last a while.

Customer Support : 10
The company I ordered from (www.guitarbitz.co.uk) are amazing. They are cheap compared to most, offer free delivery on every item and the 12 point check makes it worth ordering any guitar from them especially if you are a beginner. I can't see I'll be having any problems with such a great company

Overall Rating : 9
After years of wanting to play I finally ordered a guitar, I am happy with this as a first guitar but even after two weeks I can tell already that I am going to be spending a fair bit of money on these things over the next few years :o)

This pack is a brilliant way of spending a small amount of money on finding out whether or not you'll stick with it... get this then after a few months get something better if you still enjoy playing.

If it were lost or stolen I'd buy something a bit better, either a Vintage V100 or an Epiphone... maybe even a second hand Gibson. I'm going to order a better amp soon though so if someone nicked the amp I'd probably be gratetful.. it's shit :o)
