Not sure about age. Previous owner bought it second hand and kept it for five years. I have had it one year.
It has 21 fat frets.
It is solid bodied.
Controls are 2 volume, two tone and a three way switch.
The pickups are three "electric toaster" type, Japanese copies of the Rick320.
I think that the body is alder end the neck is maple.
The finish is cherry sunburst.
This is an almost exact copy of a Rickenbacker 320 6 string.
The bridge and tailpiece are almost exactly the same as a Rickenbacker - ie: nothing like a Fender or Gibson.
Tuners are Sperzel - copies I suspect.

TMy main guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Standard. I also own a Strat. This guitar has much more "cut" than a Strat or a Tele - very trebly. Played through a Fender Twin with Boss distortion and reverb pedals and a Wah for treble boost, it is excellent for 60s and 70s rock. I can't understand why these guitars are not more popular for lead???
It is a very bright sounding guitar - kind of like a Tele with a lot more balls, but not like humbuckers.
In my opinion this guitar would be no good for jazz or blues.
I like the feel and the sound of the guitar, but the finish is too bright.

The finish is generally fine, although there are some rough spots on the edge of the scratch plate.

I would have no worries about using this for a gig.

I have been playing for 20+ years.
I would buy this guitar again because it was only one third of the price of a genuine Rickenbacker 320 - yet it is just as good a guitar.
The only real complaint that I have is that it says "Encore" and "Vintage" on the truss rod cover, rather than Rickenbacker!
