The C-10 is Epiphone's cheapest classical guitar. It's made in Indonesia, nothing fancy. I bought it because I travel alot and wanted a compact guitar that I could leave in the car, and if the neck warps I'd only be out $120. It has a spruce (laminated) top with mahogany sides, back, and neck. The fretboard and bridge plate are rosewood.

The sound is quite nice considering the price. The G string sounds a bit muddy with certain brands of strings, but I understand that's a common problem with nylons. The best strings I've tried so far are the Augustine Blue (high tension). I bought an Ovation, and decided to buy this as an afterthought, and I find myself playing this much more than the ovation.
Action, Fit, & Finish

The action fairly low (perfect for high tension strings) making it very easy to play. You may want to shim the bridge a little for low tensions. The finish is satin, which I especially like on the neck. You can feel a few bumps in the finish when you wipe your hand over the soundboard and the tuner cutouts are a bit rough, but nothing that affects the playability. The tuners are cheap, but it does stay in tune pretty well.

I've had the guitar a year now, and have left it locked up in the car at times in the summer heat (Texas) as well as winter cold (Michigan) with no problems. I did have one of the tuner keys spinning on the post, which I put back on with super glue, but overall its been good.

This really turned me on to classical guitar. In fact, I'm saving up to get a Ramirez. If I considered the price of this guitar in my ratings they would all be 10's
