came with an amp, a case, and some DVD's

Sound : 4
I like to play alot of acoustic finger picking type songs. This guitar straight out of the box does not sound very good at all. I purchased a Yamaha acoustic guitar and i love it. This guitars sound is nothing to brag about. If your just begining to play than this is not a bad choice, but if you are looking for quality(as i said before) go with a cheap Yamaha. It was about the same price as this thing. If you do plan to get this guitar, change the strings and it will sound OK. The amp though is not too bad if you like clean settings.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 4
Unflatened stickerglue residue on fretboardmissing plastic jewel on bridgeand a made in China logo in the sound holeI like the blue finish.

Reliability/Durability : 6
This is a pretty tough guitar. Ive bumped it around quite a bit and it is still in decent shape. But thats just the outer edges. There are way more sturdy and durable guitars out there.

Never used

Ive been playing for just about 3 er 4 years now and ive had the guitar for almost 2. I really wish i would've controlled myself, but i bought it anyway. If it were stolen i would not buy it again. Dont let this guitars looks fool you. It is not what it all seems to be. For about $200(which is about what i payed) you can purchase a guitar with good sound and quality. Overall this thing was overrated and over priced. To sum things up.....one heck of a rip off. Esteban is a very talented guitar player, but a very cheap guitar maker.

wow!!!! looks like there trying to esta--Ban you ass. well than I lucked out got one from my older sister for xmas since my family knows i love and collect guitars. my sis must of watched the commercial she got suckered into buying the package deal from (hsn) home shopping network. well' my first thought was oh "god" Do I pretend.... or just be honest, well i said what kind of fool buys a package deal for a semi- pro player. dvd's amp ect ect. so I was a bit disturbed to say the least. later I farted around with it and really admired the finish, very eye catching, not a flaw I could see. it really is beautiful with the sparkles. the frets were smooth the tuners tight. I tuned it up and it sounds good. action a little high but plays all the way to the cutout. no buzzing or dead spots.

Sound : 8
so playing it for awhile it was fun held tune and does sound great.
the amop and all the other junk is junk for sure. I like the guitar and will keep it forever since there was also sentimental value as well. plus I will get to see how it will hold up. The inside looks to be well crafted there are alot of bracing and it was glued properly as far as i can see.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 8
this guitar was set-up nicely. the action would be perfect if it were lowered a bit. but that's about it. I will try a new set of string lighter guage see what happens but for now I just exercise my fingers.( not that bad) I figure as well that time will ware it's way to correctness that is as the nuts ware than the action will gradually gow lower anyway. when I was a young I remember sticking paper in the nuts to raise the action and stop the buzzing on some old rickenbackers I had. teenage days beer or new nut? humm let's see enneie meenie minnie--- BEER

Reliability/Durability : 8
I have had this guitar for a year now and it's done well stay's in tune and has weathered my insconsistant home tempertures. I have a wood stove so it's warm when i am home.

Overall Rating : 8
well like I say to be honest and fair... cause the last two reviews slaughtered this guitar. I really like mine. I love the finish. it's not girly but yet it is an eye popper. people that see it Immediately focus on it and think it is real expensive. I will write another review in ten years. I don't use the electronics I tried it was not impressed so never used it again. If I wanted I would change it out. but not yet. if this guitar were lost or stolen I might look for another but not by sight un-seen I have to play it first since there have been some un-fortunate ones out there.

Beautiful concept for a cheap guitar. I was quite disappointed at the playabilty of this guitar. The action got way too high after the 10 frets making the cutaway useless. I own much better guitars coming out of China in the same price range.

Sound : 3
I tried to put heavy strings on it, but it couldn't take it.
Sound is OK.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 6
Actually, for a cheap guitar, the cosmetics are quite good. Nice job on the bindings and inlays. Paint and finish acceptable.

Reliability/Durability : 5
It's too delicate for heavy stage use, although it is a unique design.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Forget it.

Overall Rating : 2
These guitars are meant for beginners and are quite impossible to play. I'm a professional guitar tech and I couldn't get the action nowhere near for a cutaway. This includes, lowering the bridge, adjusting the truss rod, and replacing the nut. I guess, you just have to get lucky on a good one. It's a shame, because the look of the guitar could be truly inpiring. Esteben, are you reading this?

Acoustic/Electric ~ flat-top, single cut, dreadnaught type assemblage of plywood. Worlds worst inclosed tuners; Worlds cheapest strings; Frets made from razor-wire installed crooked. Some kind of pickup assembly ~ too scared to even plug it in, for fear of what I'll find.

Sound : 5
Sounded like ka-ka before I set it up. Now, it sounds fairly balanced and acceptable. I didn't say good, I said acceptable. But not by me. I have a Harmony that's WAY better even with dead strings.

Action, Fit, & Finish : 1
THE WORST I'VE EVER SEEN (except for maybe a homemade guitar from Russia). Neck? - roller coaster! Frets? - untouchable! Bridge? - the worst I've even seen. I could make a better one blindfolded! Tuners? - super slop; unfinished metal with tool marks and burrs! Truss rod? - actually worked well! Finish? - looks like a rattle can job with Tandy rhinestones stuck in before it dried! Nut? - the only worthwhile componant on the guitar. Why did they waste a good nut on this travesty?

Reliability/Durability : 1
This is NOT my guitar (thanks GOD). It was brought to me to "make playable" and guess what..thanks to my skills and the ONLY two semi-quality parts on the guitar, the nut and the rod, I defied the laws of nature and was able to get this guitar(?) to play well. But, since it's NOT mine, I'll (happily) not be able to report it's reliability. I would say offhand, that I have VERY little faith in it's durability.

ESTEBAN, you phoney self-centered profiteering cheap-axe Zorro imposter...stop ripping people off on TV. You're a fine guitarist. Go on tour and make your money honestly.

Overall Rating : 2
So close to garbage you can hardly tell the difference. The guitar DID respond to my efforts to make it playable. But that was probably just a fluke. IF you are one of the unlucky to have fallen for the Esteban pitch on TV or if somebody gave you one for free - have the neck rod tightened to remove the bow, and recut the nut slots to improve the 1st position action and put a set of decent strings on it immediately (or have a repairman do all that for you) and, IF you're lucky, you may end up with a guitar that's playable for a while.
Psst! (my secret suggestion is - get rid of it fast)
