Not sure when made but I bought it about a year ago for ??180. Strat copy made in China, 22 frets, one volume, two tone, and 5 way selector switch. It has three single coil, passive, ceramic pickups.
The body is made from alder and has a transparent blue finsh. Maple neck and fingerboard. high gloss neck. Red tortoise shell pickguard. Chrome hardware.

I play blues rock, hard rock and occaisonally thrash metal. This guitar pulls them of reasonably well. To be honest it does everything, but doesn't really excell at one particular style, basically, jack of all trades but master of none. Athough it does play blues better than the rest. The neck pickup is amazing but the bridge and middle pickup leave a lot to be desired. The pickups arn't great, but a hell of a lot better than any other guitar in this price range. If you changed the pickups to some better ons this guitar would be perfect.

The intonation was spo one, perfect for a beginner who doesn't know to change it properly. The action was high, not too high just slightly high, I lowered in about 30 seconds though. The strings were actually very decent that came with it which was a pleasant surprise.
What can I say? This guitar is one of the most beautiful I've seen. Transparent bule finish was imaculate when I got it, still is now. The tortoise shell pickguard really makes the guitar stand out from the crowd. Also maple neck really completes the look.

It is fairly strong. I have gigged with it twice and I have band practice three times a week and I take the bus without a hard case, just a gig back and I have banged it numerous times and it is still as perfect as it was when I first got it. Strap buttons are decent. Thefinish is unbelieveable and hasn't even got one scratch even after 10 months of heavy use.

I've been playing for about 10 months now and this guitar was the perfect beginners guitar becuase it was so well set up and it was reasonably priced. By for the best part of the guitar is the neck. Wow the neck is unbelievably smooth. It is high glossed and it is actually smoother and softer than silk. The finish is also awesome, as is the pickguard. Farida have definately excelled themselves and I would HIGHLY recommend this guitar to a beginner or intermediate player looking for flexibility. If it were stolen i'd be angry as it was my first guitar and I'd buy it agian because I'm in love with the looks of this stunning guitar.
