Jonathan got ADA addict and decided he wanted a part of my ADA gear I had lying around. So we decided to do a trade, a good option when both doesn't have any pence to spend. The Puma is a handcrafted guitar based on the Music Man EVH, but a little better in my honest opinion, no wonder: this beauty has been build by one pair of hands with the heart and soul of a guitarbuilder! Here are the specs in a glance:
Body wood(s): Korina with Maple fascia
Neck wood: Birdseye maple
Neck fixing: Bolt on
Neck Width: 42mm @nut.56mm@21st fret
Neck Thickness: 20mm@nut. 22mm@12th fret
Fingerboard: rosewood
Scale length: 650mm
Frets: 22 / Dunlop 6100
Bridge Pickup: Seymour Duncan P90
Neck Pickup: Seymour Duncan P90
Controls: Volume, tone & 3 way switch
Bridge: Gotoh hardtail
Machine-heads: Gotoh SGE
Nut: Graph tech
The axe came in a Felineguitars case which protected the guitar. Together with my JEM and Universe I have a sweet range of different tones to create.

The sound is pure, even unamplified the guitar sounds very good and bright. I use ADA gear all the time and I must say that recording with the P90's is a bit more different (they pick up more noise than the DiMarzio's I have in my other guitars. I can get bluesy Satch tones with this axe, I really dig that!

Jonathan stands for quality, you can definately see and feel that when you open the case. There is really nothing negative to say about the setup, the adjustment of the parts or whatever. It's prepared to my wishes (D'Addario 009 and a low action)

I think this is a guitar for life, time will tell of course, but this is not factory shit, this is like getting married with a rock! I think I am going to use it for recording though, not on stage. So the lifetime will be pretty long.

We'll see, the guitar is brandnew, but based on how the deal went: no worries, he would take it back and give the opportunity to try another axe if I'd whish I guess. Again: this is not factory shit, this is has something to do with addiction and passion!

I play for almost 20 years now, I have a bunch of other axes and my JEM 777VBK and Universe are my main axes. This one is very welcome, something completely different, but it adds something valuable to my collection. If this one will get stolen, it will be recognized immediately, there is only one Puma ;-)
