This Japanese reissue is just the standard tele. Except for the fretboard maybe. The only difference is the Bigsby that was specially designed for this guitar. It has an 'F' on it instead of the word 'Bigsby' and is shorter than the regular one seen on Gibsons.

The sound itself is wonderful. It seems that the Bigsby adds 'body' to the sound, but there is a brightness to it still. There were nobuzzes or anything, which I did notice on a model I tried before.
Especially the low is very nice indeed. The high was terrible. The saddle on the bridge of the high e is all over the place which takes away evey sustain and makes an annoying noise. Some study shows that the angle the string makes just isn't big enough to push the saddle down the way it should. I even had the string skip a groove on the saddle when I pushed the high e up.

The guitar was completely flawless when it comes to manufacturing. The construction of the bridge however is a design error that makes this guitar absolutely unusable.
My repairman suggested to lift the bridge up some millimeters and then set the nech furter backwards. I brought the thing back to the dealer however and got my money back.

The retailer was the one I dealed with. He was perfect and took it back and refunded my money. Dirk Witte in Amsterdam is the best!!!

I've been playing aboout all my life (hobby). I have a Les Paul Supreme which is PERFECT!! I have an L4-CES which I am still getting to know. Now I will have to start another search (finding the Tele/Bigsby took me about a year). If I had only examined the technical features more... This guitar failes by design and I would advise anyone to NOT BUY IT.
So ??? 1200 to spare...and noting to spend it on :(
